Brighton just beat us and don't concede that many goals, wouldn't put it past them to beat Pool. Far from over.

Our last 3 PL results are draws against the two bottommost teams and a loss to Chelsea, we're totally capable of screwing it up on the final day.

Sir Alex no longer needs intensive care and will continue rehabilitation as an inpatient.

His family have been overwhelmed by the level of support and good wishes but continue to request privacy as this will be vital during this next stage of recovery. pic.twitter.com/7AFFspsaj7

1-0 down then Mavropanos gets sent off straight after
I've never checked out of an Arsenal game faster than that.

Auba continuing his excellent goal scoring record. Serious contender for top scorer next season IMO.

Remember when @Kaladin was sniffing at Aubameyang as he was hoping for Moratato Milan?

Harsh penalty against Arsenal but Mkhitaryan was daft there with the tackle.
2-1 Vardy.

Huddersfield with one of the grittiest defensive efforts I've seen in a long time. Chelsea were battering them.
Two points from City and Chelsea away to stay up. Great achievement.

ffs Pool can't keep getting away with it
Wrapped up CL though. Saw this gif on a reddit thread describing something else, but it perfectly describes Spurs end of season form to get CL for next season

Used to be genuinely an exciting team to watch. Downhill ever since Rodgers left. Imagine giving the job to the likes of Gary Monk or Bob Bradley ffs. Their owners sound terrible too.
What happened?
I remember them turning the ship around after Carvahlal or whatever came into charge. Did they start to lose every game again?

if we make it we have defo fell over the line. our lack of squad depth is really showing now tbh. looks like our legs are gone. the high press game klopp likes to play really takes it out of the players even salah has looked leggy in the last 3-4 games.CBarca wrote:ffs Pool can't keep getting away with it

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion Part 9 - The End
Spurs didn't really improve on last season in the end though. I mean, the CL campaign was pretty good and the loss against Juventus was tough, but beyond that...
And sure, Spurs were without Toby for almost all the season, Kane out for chunks, Danny Rose went back to being shit. Winks gone for most of the season. A regression was due when you take those things into account.
But there will have to be some changes in the summer. Absolutely no doubt in my mind that Poch is the right manager to continue on with, but the team needs improvements. Moura is a valuable addition, I can't wait to see more of him. I think Spurs need to target a CM though, and look at a new LB if possible. And RE-SIGN TOBY. I don't think the last will happen.
Second place is still possible, I can see it happening, United in a bit of a lull atm.
