Agreed. He'll just score on Van Dyke and Lovren instead. Easier anyway.

Milan have offered Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini a three-year contract, according to Belgian newspapers.

La Dernière Heure claim that a proposal arrived at the desk of his entourage last week.

It’s certainly not the first time that Fellaini has been linked with a move to San Siro and he would fit the profile Coach Gennaro Gattuso and director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli described over the last few days.

They are looking for experienced players who have won silverware and can bring determination to the side.

The 30-year-old will be a free agent when his contract expires on June 30, although Manchester United are trying to talk him into signing a new deal.

Fellaini has scored five goals with one assist in 23 competitive games this season.

The real Fellaini united with the Italian Fellaini Proud

it can't happen because i doubt Liverpool wants to pay Bale the same level of wages we pay.

A move to United just makes much more sense, Adidas boy, you guys have been courting him since the summer we signed him, Mourinho loves him, talked about wanting to sign him last summer but Gareth not wanting to leave, United already comfortable paying outlandish wages, your team actually having a need.

Pool can just decide not to sell Salah and that's it

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has ruled out the possibility of the Bundesliga champions spending big money in the transfer window.

Jupp Heynckes' fourth spell in charge of Bayern came to a disappointing end on Saturday, as Niko Kovac - who will take over at the Allianz Arena next month - masterminded a 3-1 victory for Eintracht Frankfurt in the DFB-Pokal final.

That defeat leaves Bayern with just the Bundesliga title to their name this campaign but Hoeness, following comments from Joshua Kimmich regarding a "brutally disappointing season", does not believe a squad overhaul is required.

"That's totally stupid," Hoeness said of Kimmich's comments, ahead Bayern's championship celebrations in Munich. "I'm not going to make a bad impression of this outstanding season.

"We certainly will not make a 100 million transfer this year. We will more or less go into the season with the squad, let's see what Niko does with it.

"We need one or two players who will perform at their best in the important games - and not when we play against the weakest opponents.

If Bayern doesn't jettison this moronic holier-than-thou attitude of refusing to spend big they're not going to be among the top teams for much longer.

PL midtable teams spend more than Bayern Laughing

It doesn't help to anounce you're willing to burn money though.

Also you can still buy top players for far less than 100m. Watch them buy Martial and turn him into a world class attacker.

Uli is right though, yes Bayern can sign a couple of players to improve the team, but i dont see where and why they would need to spend 100 mil on a player.

this is their team:

Neuer
Kimmich Boateng Hummels Alaba
Tolisso Thiago Vidal
Muller Lewandowski Ribery

+ Sule, Robben, Wagner, James, that new kid from Schalke, Ulreich, etc...

this is an elite squad already, they dont need to pay 100 mil to sign additional players.

aren't they obligated to buy James for 60-80m already

or is that next season

they don't need to sign a big player but they absolutely should be looking at Robben/Ribery heirs and if the possibility exists to sign a Martial or a Bale, they should.

it's next season that they have the option to buy.

2 year loan, 10-15 mil per season and 40 mil buying option at the end of the second year. If they pick up the option for the second year this summer, James contract with us automatically increases by a year so that if bayern bails in 2019, James still has 2 years left till 2021 and we can sell with less pressure.

Loan is till 2019. I guess they could already sign him now but not sure and also not sure if it would be worth it.

The team is still fine, they just need 1-2 additional attackers as Ribery and Robben are really old now. But obviously you don't need to spend 100m on a player like that. As said Martial would be a great option and he'd probably cost something like 50-60? IDK tbh but certainly far less than 100.

i dont think Bayern needs to pay 120+ mil we will ask for Bale.

They can safely invest in a young talent like Gnaby or Baily and take their time to develop him. They still have Muller at the club + Coman.

Besides, i see Draxler leaving PSG soon. there are better deals for Bayern to be found

If anything I'd argue they need to spend money on improving their medical staff lol.

Madrid might of won anyway but at the end of the day it's another year when they had multiple key players get injured.

That simply can't happen.

I hope we don't take up the option on James. He' been ok, but not great.
And especially in the position he's been used, he's surplus to requirement and doesn't add much.
If we keep Thiago, with Goretzka coming, Tolisso having been ok, James is not needed as a midfielder.

I don't want him to stay, I want us to send him back to Madrid after next season and use the money for the acquisition of a proper attacker.

Also, I hope we sell Lewandowski. He's bad energy, and any random striker will score 20-30 goals in Bundesliga for us.

Also, fellow posters , can you do me a favour and abstain from mentioning Gnabry please

Roma are progressing rapidly in their negotiations for Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet with a €28m offer, it’s reported.

The Belgium international just turned 24 and has been in Serie A for two seasons.

He is also of interest to the likes of Juventus, Inter, Everton and West Ham United.

However, according to Genoa-based Primo Canale, Praet would prefer Roma and the talks have kicked up a few gears over the last few days.

The offer on the table is worth €28m, almost three times what Samp paid to get him from RSC Anderlecht in 2016.

A good player that provides a lot of depth, but for that type of money, he'd need to be in the frame for a starting spot.

I think you'll be selling one of your starters IMO or Pellegrini

Maybe cash in on one of Strootman/Nainggolan

It could honestly be either or. Strootman looks more likely as Nainggolan's more important to the XI.

Right...

"Fellaini could be an important player, he is," Mirabelli told Sky Sport Italia following Sunday's 5-1 rout of Fiorentina on the final day of the Serie A season.

"We know he is not going to renew with United, but it's difficult to say that we have closed the deal.

"He has important attributes. We will do something in that role but we are keeping everything in reserve.

More or less a done dealio

This is actually happening wow Laughing
