half of the list are Ligue 1 players @Mole
Lo Celso looked horrible in the CL when I watched him
Lyon are gonna bank from all these youth players they've been producing

Re: 10 break out talents in 2017/18 - Guardian
Last year was really more of a breakout year for serie a, this one is sort of a follow up. There was Kessie, Schick, the four youths of AC Milan, Simeone, Belotti (although you can argue this one), Gagliardini. Im sure there were others that i didnt mention
What i mean by that is many young players made their breakthroughs last year, and are now playing a season where opponents dont give them as much space as they would with a lesser known name.
I wouldnt even put SMS on that list as again last year was his break out and this one was a follow up, which id argue he did rather well.
Ligue 1 is dominating clearly, but typically those players dont stay there as long. Will be really interesting to see where some of these yutes end up. Lyon is churning out top talent too, they had a former player in 7/8 of the UCL and Europa Semis. They are stacked full of young talent.

Lyon youngsters rarely flop tbh. This season was average in terms of young talents compared to 16/17 though.

This kid is looking excellent so far. Was he this highly rated as a youngster in La Liga?

Of course, his breakout season was last year

absolutely, i am super convinced that we missed out because of Zidane leaving, and we had to focus on hiring a coach.rincon wrote:Mr Nick09 wrote:1- Aouar

He is the type of talent madrid usually sign, still baffled we missed out on both him and Rodri the same summer, like wtf
