Re: DONE DEALIO: Sarri to Chelsea
breva wrote:Napoli had no backups. That's ADL's fault. When Ghoulam was injured, there was no left back that could replace his contribution to the on pitch play. Ghoulam was the whole attack on the left side, and the defense.
What happened to Hamsik/Zielinski and Insigne? What happened to Rui?
The reason it feels like Napoli has no back ups is not ADL's fault anymore. Its part Sarri using the same players over and over again alienating the rest.

Re: DONE DEALIO: Sarri to Chelsea
For Chelsea fans,
The real deal is if you sign also Martusciello as assistant coach (it seems probable)
The man cures the defensive phase and he made a fantastic job under us
Been one of most solid defence of the league, Skriniar developed under him and sadly I have to say same about Cancelo (improved defensively after Serie A experience)
He can do same job for Christiensen etc
Infact most number of Inter fans, included me, feared Sarri to Chelsea for it. And it is going to happen probably

He worked in London when he was a banker so I would imagine it would be, surprised me also though
I prefer to think of him as a homophobic, chainsmoking, middle finger brandishing Napolitano though. It fits my provinciale narrative better

Re: DONE DEALIO: Sarri to Chelsea
Sarri has worked for 4 years in London (but also in Germany and Luxemburg) , that's why he can speak English . Not surprised tbh... yeah, even Mancini has worked for years in England ....... but a thing is the coach , another thing is if you work for a bank His old job
Listened now his interview so as to view English talked by another Italian . I think it's very good but I've noticed some mistakes My next B2 is on fire ffs

Re: DONE DEALIO: Sarri to Chelsea
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri will reportedly have his favourite food and trusted computer delivered to England.
According to The Sun’s Alvino Cagnazzo, Sarri ‘is not a fan of English food’ and ‘has a lack of trust in finding his favourite delicacies’, despite already ‘tapping up’ assistant Gianfranco Zola for the best Italian restaurants and shops around West London.
Consequently, the former Napoli Coach has arranged for ‘shipments of cheese, beef and even coffee’ to be sent over from Italy.
Cagnazzo explains only Caffe Kimbo will do for the 59-year-old, the coffee manufacturer native to Naples and sleeve sponsors for the Partenopei last season.
As for cheese, Sarri only eats buffalo mozzarella from Caserta and Naples – both provinces of Campania down south – and Tuscan beef from ‘a Chianina breed of cattle’.
Finally, his work at the Blues’ Cobham training complex should be accompanied by the computer he has used since coaching Empoli, as well as Merit cigarettes.
Amazing stuff

Re: DONE DEALIO: Sarri to Chelsea
Can't blame him. Food in England is so bland and meh. No self respecting Italian would do any different. Probably goes a long way towards explaining why Italians don't succeed at the PL.
