Reus is a top player who returned from injury and since then has shown very good games for a few months. Not calling him up because he hasn't played 10 games more would be a completely ridiculous decision.

Müller has been in top form since Ancelotti left. Shows how clueless you really are. Talk about people living in the past then bring up bad form from one year ago.

Mole is right you need players that are in form at this moment in time and that fit the team's system but you don't leave your best match winners at home when competing in a cup format. Sane is the kind of player that can win you a game within a second, that's invaluable in a 1 match tie.

He is that player for City. He's never been that player for Germany, not even close. He's been poor.
Look, I rate Sané as highly as can be and I would KILL to have him at Bayern.

But, while the NT selects players based on their club performances, at some point, they have to show these performances for the NT too, else it makes little sense to prefer them over players who regularly and consistently perform for the NT.
It really isn't rocket science.
