Burnley away is next. Turf moor on a cold wednesday night isn't an ideal place to visit tbh

Ohhh, I am always here. Sometimes life is so busy, I read the comments but don't get time to reply.
Burnley seems to be the right game where I would try a diamond with Origi and Sturridge up front, Shaqiri at the tip of it.

Two insanely tough games now, Burnley and Eddie Howe Away. Grit wins, we clearly can't score anymore.

I agree with Helmer tbh, we will rest some players definitely. This is the part of the season now where we play games every 3-4 days so we need to rotate now, especially because we have Napoli next week. I'd also start Shakira-Origi-Sturridge up top with Solanke making an impact sub appearance.

I also think Robbo should be rested, people don't like Moreno that much but this is the type of game Moreno can play, a game against team in the relegation zone, Moreno isn't good defensively but he can contribute offensively especially in these games

My team would be:
Alisson
Arnold-Gomez-Lovren-Moreno
Milner-Fabinho-Keita
Shaqiri
Origi-Sturridge

subs: Solanke, Henderson, Matip

Jordan Henderson is available again but Liverpool have fitness doubts over Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson for the Premier League clash with Burnley on Wednesday night.

The Reds captain, who served a one-game suspension as Jürgen Klopp’s side won the 232nd Merseyside derby last weekend, comes back into contention ahead of the game at Turf Moor.

An appearance for Henderson would be the 300th of his league career.

Mane and Robertson will be closely monitored before the manager chooses his XI, however, after suffering a cut to the foot and dead leg respectively against Everton.

“Sadio really had an awful cut on his foot. It needed to be stitched,” Klopp explained at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

“He is OK but walking around here now in flip-flops and you don’t play in flip-flops! That means in this moment he is not ready, but we will see later. With Robbo it is not that serious as with Sadio, but we need to have a look.”

I hope so and I have high hopes for him too. This is the first game he started after those injuries and he did great, lets hope he continues in this trend. I also hope Gomez injury is nothing serious

Jürgen Klopp confirmed Joe Gomez suffered an ankle injury during Liverpool's 3-1 win at Burnley on Wednesday.

The No.12 was stretchered off midway through the first half at Turf Moor and the Reds will have to assess the seriousness of the issue in the coming days.

“It was his ankle,” the manager said at his post-match press conference.

“Joe is injured and probably not only a little bit. We have to see, we don’t know in the moment. We sent him home.”

Damn, we can only hope for the best.. btw after this win, this is our best start in Livepool's 126-year history. Thumbs up

And about Keita he is exactly something our midfield needs, someone with intent to get forward and always take on players. He was also unlucky not to get a goal today. If he finds chemistry with our front 3 like Ox did then we have something to look forward to cheers

A win like this always feels great. When you rotate your squad and come out with 3 points is always great

Games Joe Gomez is likely to miss:

Bournemouth (A)
Napoli (H)
Man United (H)
Wolves (A)
Newcastle (H)
Arsenal (H)
Man City (A)
Wolves (A, FA Cup)
Brighton (A)

Lovren is the likely suspect to partner VVD in CB while I sincerely hope Klopp rotates Clyne and TAA in RWB.

Klopp has to stop with this stupidity of playing Gomez at RB. I hope now this injury has taught him something. FBs are so important in his system to manage the game and also to take part in the attacking plays. It ruins the balance of the system by playing Gomez at RB.

Gomez haters will now realise how important he was alongside VanDjik in those next few games.
