Seriously dude, fook him! Shouldn't have flirted with Madrid while still being Spain's coach. It's all his fault.

That's what I have been asking myself. Why would you leave a great job you were doing so great at and come to this mess.

DEEZ was right, I already feel bad for the guy who's going to take over. What a shit show

if the guy that takes over has some cojones, it won't be a shit show....i mean, there's little we can do for this season, so charge that to the game. but if come summer, whoever is in charge has no list of players who he wants, and those he wants OUT, but is concerned with saying the right things for the cameras, then forget it

Imagine quitting your national team right before a World Cup only to get sacked by your new club 10 games into the season. rofl

This guy did some black magic or shit. Worst coach in Porto history, somehow takes over Spain NT, after which he somehow takes over Real Madrid. Fully expect him to be Prime Minister of Spain after he gets sacked.

Isn't it usually contingent on the coach then staying out of work for the remainder of his contract? which let's face it, he would do. Guy is a numpty and won't get another elite job. what was it? 2-3 year contract?

Unbelievable, 2 months into the season.

Justice for Numptegui ffs. Players let him down. Flo let him down. Fans let him down. Personally believed he would have turned things around, but I guess we'll never know now.

He deserved it, some of the losses were an embarrassment. And this is coming from someone who was happy he came in. Ultimately he couldnt cope with the job. Bye

Well, this was pretty much expected and also deserved. That being said, I feel bad for the man. I wouldn't wish a scenario like that on anyone here and can't imagine how that feeling is.

I mean, he is still a numpty and I'm enjoying the banter but still, totally feel bad for him.

As a person of partly Spanish background I'm happy this mofo got the sack. He ruined the final chance of the golden generation to win a WC. He deserves it. Get lost and never come back please.

Welcome to Real Murcia J-Lo cheers

I'm guessing your partly Spanish side also hates Ramos and Pique because they are equally responsible for the WC fk up.

Good luck to the man, I liked how the team looked at first, but when certain players were under performing being straight trash and dragging the team down, but keep pushing the Spanish revolution with best player to ever live isco leading him to his doom, freaking sad another manager gone before getting the best outta him shocking.

Anyway back to basics proper 433, promote vini, drop the spanish scrubs, Mariano as starting cf and Benz bench/lw don't care and stop the bleeding until January sell benzema its getting trivial, bring James back please I beg you Flo he loves the club still, Zidane is gone and the Spanish revolution finally over and done with I hope.

Really sad to see him go. Not that I believe he's the best thing since sliced bread, but he really was treated unfairly.

Look at you know, sacked and already forgotten. Don't you wish you had the balls to tell Florentino that the squad he gave you wasn't good enough? That was your only mistake. That and the fact that you agreed to leave the NT for this pile of shit.

Good luck to you wherever you go, and I'm sorry for what happened to you. This wasn't your fault.

Marca wrote:The team needed reinforcements but in came a goalkeeper (Thibaut Courtois) and a right-back (Alvaro Odriozola) in positions that were not priorities.

Ronaldo wasn't replaced by the club and in addition, they let Mateo Kovacic go without bringing in a replacement, despite Lopetegui's public requests for such.

He asked for a No. 9 and in the end, almost out of panic, they signed Mariano, while Vinicius keeps scoring goals for the Castilla.

Lopetegui has found himself in charge of a squad that is much worse than it has been in previous years but the requirements were the same.
