Calm down bros. We are talking about the man who tied Florentino Perez's hands. He will milk 50-60m from Milan and take Bonucci. Next thing you know we have a buyback for Caldara just 5m higher than we sold him Wink

[Romeo Agresti] Milan have a clear and concrete interest in Mattia Caldara and have held talks with Paratici and the players agent. Juventus have no intention of giving up the player and have told his agent that. They could sell Rugani or Benatia instead. Bonucci wants to return to Juventus.

Thank you God, please be true

Marotta: ‘Bonucci wants Juventus return’
By Football Italia staff

Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta confirms Milan captain Leonardo Bonucci “wants to come to us and we want to satisfy him”.

The centre-back left the Bianconeri in a shock €40m move last summer, but he now wants to leave San Siro.

Reports have emerged in recent days that he’s keen on a return to Turin, and that has been confirmed tonight.

“Leonardo wants to come to us and we want to satisfy him,” Marotta is quoted as saying TopCalcio24.

“It’s a complicated negotiation though. We’re trying and we’ve offered [Gonzalo] Higuain to the Rossoneri, but without a positive result.

"I'll be at the Lega Serie A for the fixtures tomorrow and we can talk.

"Higuain to Chelsea? They're following him, but it's not easy.

“Mattia Caldara to Milan? He’s unsellable for us.”

So disrespectful to the player and so hard to believe.. He's one of the best strikers in the league for god's sake. Marotta would never say something like that publicly.

Yep Marotta would never say such things that openly and in a unprofessional way unless he was drunk.
Makes me feel bad for Pipita who's being pushed to Milan in a similar way to Bonucci last year and he was far from being a failure.
He scored over 50 goals in his two seasons here so he deserves respect and not that kind of words.

Alex Sandro makes final decision

Brazil international, Alex Sandro is not willing to leave Juventus this summer after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The left-back has been linked with an exit from the Turin outfit at various points in the last two years and was expected to leave the club this summer. However, a new report from Italian publication, Calciomercato states that the 27-year-old is willing to stay at the club as he feels that the arrival of Ronaldo has elevated the Serie A champions to another level.

He has been linked to Manchester United and PSG this summer as he seeks a significant rise in his wages, though it seems that he will sign a new deal. Sandro, who is one of the world’s best leftbacks endured a difficult campaign last term as he struggled to reach his exceptional high standards. He had injury and form concerns that saw him lose his place at a period to Kwadwo Asamoah.

He will be refreshed this summer after missing out on Brazil’s squad for the World Cup, meaning that he has had ample time to rest and get back to his levels. After crashing out of the Champions League last term in the quarter-finals to Real Madrid, Juventus are ready to launch an assault on the trophy in a bid to win their first title since 1996. Sandro, known for his defensive and attacking balance, reads the game well and has an exceptional work rate.

He joined Juventus in the summer of 2015 and has scored 9 goals in 114 matches for the Bianconeri. His decision to stay with Juventus means, unfortunately, we have to look at other options to solve our left-back crisis.

Pjanic & Higuain OUT and SMS IN it is then. That's what Moggi said weeks ago.

I just hope we don't do the usual business and sell on a lower price and buy SMS on a overpriced deal.

If Pjanic leaves for 70m and somehow Lotito convinces us to pay anything over 80m for SMS then it will be a huge mistake financially speaking.

Pjanic must be valued over 90m and SMS nothing more than 80m.

Yes I think our defense is set, we will keep both Sandro and Rugani I think. Don't think Bonucci will come back.

Our forwards are set.

So that leaves the midfield. With Higuain and Pjanic sales we will have the money for Sergej. Yes he is a different player than Pjanic, but if Can plays in front of the defense, if Sergej is playing on the left in the "Pogba" role, and we rotate Khedira and Bentancur on the right then I don't think we need Pjanic. Free kicks will be taken by Ronaldo and Dybala.

If Bentancur can take the next step then Pjanic is redundant and Sergej adds a new dimension to our midfield that we don't currently have and haven't had since Pogba.

I don't think Allegri would play Can in front of the defense. He never did that with Khedira who imo wouldn't be that bad if he played there like he used to play for Real. Most likely Allegri will rotate both Can & Khedira.

IF he does play Can as a CDM then we don't have to sacrifice Pjanic for Savic. If Pjanic moves a little bit forward (sm like he played for Roma) he will be amazing.
He wont have to do that much defensive duties and will be free to provide for CR7 and all our attackers. Not to mention he is more than capable being a threat himself.

So if we move Pjanic in a #8 position there is no need to make big changes. Not that he's been bad as a regista , he has been very good and has improved physically and does more defensive work but since our midfield has downgraded he has sacrifced way more than he should have.

Even Pirlo would have struggled as a regista with Khedira and Matuidi playing alongside him instead of Vidal & Pogba.

I have said before I'd rather have another midfielder on the cheap (30-40m) than spend 100m on Pogba or SMS having to sacrifice Pjanic or someone else.
If we can't bring such names now without sacrificing our stars then I'd rather wait for next season.

The situation of our defense as I understand it from Beppe Marotta and Rugani's agent words is :

We would like to bring back Bonucci but we'll have to offload another defender first. First choice to leave could be Benatia and we are offering him to Milan in exchange for Bonucci.
I think our management would like to keep both Rugani & Caldara and the only way they would leave is on loan or with us having a buy-back in case we sell them.

Rugani's agent clearly says that there is an offer from Chelsea but apparently we are waiting how the situation with Bonucci goes or maybe the offer is far from the 50m € we want.
Only if Bonucci comes and we can't sell or swap Benatia we are selling Rugani at the right price.

As for other options for an experienced defender I think both Godin & Boateng are not possible now.

Imo we would favor a Bonucci - Higuain + cash swap and then sell one between Benatia (~20m) or Rugani (45-50m) but unfortunately Milan wont accept cuz they don't have money to pay the extra cash for Higgy and then search for a new defender to replace Bonucci.

Pjanic set for Juve renewal?
By Football Italia staff

It is reported that Miralem Pjanic looks like staying at Juventus, with the Old Lady set to offer him a new contract until 2022.

The Bosnian has been linked with a move to leading clubs around Europe this summer, with Manchester City, Chelsea and Barcelona all rumoured to be interested in his services.

However, Corriere dello Sport suggests the trio have been put off making a bid by Juve’s €100m valuation of the player.

Instead, the Italian daily suggests it is far more likely that the 28-year-old will remain at his current club, with the Bianconeri to offer him a new contract after the end of the transfer window.

The new terms, which would see Pjanic commit himself to the Turin club for the next four years, would reportedly see the playmaker increase his wages to €7m a season, up from €5m a year.

Speaking on Juve’s pre-season tour of the United States, however, the former Roma man was non-committal about what his future holds.

“I have nothing to say, there are many reports and rumours and the only thing that I want to do is train in the best way I can. The rest doesn’t depend on me.

“We have self-confidence and a feeling that keeps growing every season.

“We’ve always played to win and we want to win everything this season, the Champions League is one of our targets, we need to do our best to achieve this target.”

Marotta: ‘No bids yet for Higuain’
By Football Italia staff

Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta tells Sky Sport that no official bids have yet been made for Gonzalo Higuain.

The Argentine forward looks to be on his way out of the Bianconeri, following the recent arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with moves to both Chelsea and Milan, with Corriere dello Sport reporting this morning that the Blues are in pole position to secure his signature.

However, Marotta insists no bids have come into his club for Higuain – although he admits Juve are working towards finding a solution.

“It’s normal that when a champion like Ronaldo arrives, the competition in that position increases,” the official began.

“We are weighing up what Gonzalo’s future could be with him and his entourage.

“Milan or Chelsea? There haven’t been any concrete offers.”

‘Juve don’t want to sell Rugani’
By Football Italia staff

Daniele Rugani’s agent confirms Chelsea have submitted a ‘very important’ offer for his client, but Juventus are reluctant to sell.

The Italian centre-back has been linked with a move to the Premier League club throughout this summer’s transfer window.

And Davide Torchia admits the Stamford Bridge club have made their interest in the 23-year-old official by submitting a formal offer, although he would not disclose the figure.

“A very important offer has come in for Rugani from Chelsea,” the agent told Radio Vecchia Signora.

“However, Juve don’t want to do a deal and they don’t want to sell the player.

“As such, just as with the [Leonardo] Bonucci situation, it seems that anything is possible.”

With Rugani’s fellow centre-back Bonucci pushing to return to Juve from Milan, there is every chance the outcome of one deal could depend on the other.

And Torchia believes that to all intents and purposes, the 31-year-old is ‘already’ a Juve player once more.

“In our jargon, [Beppe] Marotta’s words are clear. Bonucci, to me, already seems a Juventus player.

“If he reduced his wage demands it would be simpler.”

Bonucci pushes, Caldara resists
By Football Italia staff

Reports in Italy suggest Leonardo Bonucci is continuing to push for a return to Juventus, although Mattia Caldara is less keen on making a switch to Milan.

Rossoneri captain Bonucci is known to want to leave San Siro, just one year after his high-profile move from Turin.

The 31-year-old was initially linked with a move to Manchester United earlier in the summer, but speculation in recent days has heavily touted him for a sensational return to Turin.

In return, Milan are believed to want promising centre-back Caldara, who has returned to Juve after a successful two-year loan spell at Atalanta.

A part player exchange could best suit all parties, although it is thought the Bianconeri and Rossoneri currently disagree on the respective values of the two defenders.

In addition, Corriere dello Sport claims that while Bonucci is desperate for a return to his former employers, Caldara is still unsure about moving in the opposite direction.

Juve cannot presently guarantee the 24-year-old first-team football, but the Italian daily reports Caldara may prefer to stay and fight for a first team place under Max Allegri anyway.

In any case, Bonucci’s days at San Siro appear numbered, with new Milan general manager Leonardo confirming at a Press conference yesterday that the 31-year-old’s intention is to depart the club.

I just don't get the rationale. It's impossible to rate Bonucci that highly after his shenanigans to leave Juve and then an average season at best with Milan. Why are we working so hard to bring this piece of shit back?

Caldara’s AC Milan move depends on Chelsea

27 July at 13:00
AC Milan and Juventus are negotiating a possible swap deal between Mattia Caldara and Leonardo Bonucci but Chelsea could play a key part in the deal, Il Corriere dello Sport reports.

Juventus are open to swap Caldara and Bonucci if they can maintain control on their defender through a buy-back clause and talks between the two clubs are ongoing since a few days now.

Caldara, however, has yet to give his green light to move to AC Milan while Bonucci has already agreed to make return to the Allianz Stadium.

According to the Italian paper Caldara would agree to move to AC Milan if Rugani is not going to join Chelsea.

The former Empoli star is wanted by the Blues who are expected to meet Juventus in the coming days to make a new formal offer for the Italian defender.

If Rugani remains at Juventus, however, Caldara would be open to leave Juve and join AC Milan while, if Rugani joins Chelsea, Caldara would prefer to remain in Turin to play his cards and try to get as much game time as possible with the Old Lady.

Bonucci probably won't join after all, seems like a swap + cash for Higuain was the only way this transfer could concretize. Everything else is just too complicated cause we have the give up on our prospects. Screw that.

Bonucci might need to go in another country if he wants out. He was already a Juve player but he wrongly felt as if Milan is a better place... in life choices we make have consequences.

So the question is would you prefer to sell Rugani outright and keep Caldara, or keep Rugani and sell Caldara with a buy back clause?

It looks like we can't keep both unfortunately.  It would be great if both were capable to be starters now, but that isn't going to happen with Chiellini still around and him being our captain.  These young players know there is only one spot to fight for and if both are on the team one will sit on the bench.

I personally prefer to keep Caldara, but if we can keep Rugani and sell Caldara with a buy back option that may be the best case scenario to keep ahold of both of them for the future.

So why are we going after Bonucci?  Well because he is a better option than Benatia and the two youngsters are still unproven on the big stage, so with Ronaldo I am sure Marotta and Allegri would prefer to go into the Champions League with a proven commodity in Bonucci.  Yes he played shit last year, but did improve under Gattuso and I am sure Allegri will get the best out of him again.  It also allows us to go back to a 3 man backline if need be as Bonucci's favourite position is as a sweeper.  I can see us playing alot of the 3 man backline especially with Sandro and Cancelo in the lineup together and with our lack of depth in midfield.
