If only Messi could pass Messi, you wouldn't need any other players.

Problem is barca midfield isn't stopping anything. The counter attacks go straight to the back 4 and it's the forwards 1v1 v defenders.

Suarez looks like he's a turtle now lol.

We are going to pay whole season not getting rid of Suarez aren't we?

To be honest I can see why Barca fans don't like Dembele, he doesn't fit this team at all.

He would be a nightmare to play against in the Premier League, thankfully the window is over. Wouldn't mind seeing him back in the Bundesliga.

Messi playing his god tier currently, Pique finally ties for empty net.

That's cause Sevilla stopped pressing altogether after they went 1-0 up, not cause of some New André Gomes putting a Xavi-like performance Laughing

He's doing fine, it's been Rafinha who's sucking dijk.

I get Xavi vibes from him. He's still a little afraid to play risky but it's just the beginning Proud

Maybe I was too harsh, but I feel like he should pass more forward and risk more. All his passes were sideways and near him, of course that helps keep possession but what kind of possession is that? Keep the ball until you lose it and get countered? I'd like to see some risk from him.

It's his first official game for Barca ffs. He does look quality, you cannot deny it. Only turned 22 yesterday. He's afraid to risk it but I can't blame him seeing Sevilla's counter attacking potential, he doesnt want to misplace his pass and look bad in debut.

He's gonna be great for us.

This is Dembele, makes a great dribble to beat a player then makes a poor decision and loose the ball and pass back to negate the play.

I get that you love the kid, but his decision making is still shit

Arthur has done well. Nothing spectacular that's made him stand out but hasn't been bad. Rafinha has struggled to connect with players but at least he's tried. Certainly helps these midfielders to have Messi drop down and create an extra midfielder. He always finds passes to either fullback. Sevilla are too unorganised, they need to get their organisation back. Roque Mesa puhlease. This team invest so much in attackers that it's left them with a terrible midfield and defence

Malcom is going to bench Dembele hard Laughing

Dembouz ought to work way harder, for now he acts like he's playing with his pals from the block.

I actually thought Dembele made a lot of good decisions. His issue is that he's a speed/direct player... possession style doesn't suit his strengths.

He wanted to go to barca so it is what it is. But his speed is wasted at Barca.

Missed the 1st half, any talking points besides Arthur being either Xavi esque or Henderson lite and Dembele doing Dembele things?

Why have Sevilla signed André Silva when they already have Ben Yedder and Muriel?

Sevilla has a bunch of ex Serie A players in their team: Muriel, Vazquez, Andre Silva, Kjaer and Banega. Apart from Vazquez, the rest didnt meet expectations at their respective teams in Italy
