Silva's so eager to impress, but he can rush his decision making. I really like what I'm seeing from him, though. He's tracking back, running the channels and showing impressive pace and stamina. He looks a good foil for Ben Yedder even though they've played just twice together.

I've been surprised by Vazquez's discipline and defensive work, too. Never thought he could make a deeper CM role work but here we are.

How did Casemiro do, and who were the players screwing up? cause I just came in at the end and he is being interviewed postmatch, and he is looking pissed. With a really cynical tone: "We gave away 45 minutes, we gave away 45 minutes, that's it, we gave away 45 minutes..."

In short, Sevilla put on their best performance in 2018 while Madrid played their worst performance under Lopetegui.

We got absolutely skinned and outplayed in pretty everything, and the whole group (except for Varane and Nacho) were absolutely horrendous.

BTW, don't let the scoreline fool you. It says 3 but it could've easily been 6 or 7.

Casemiro was alright, did his job as best as he could. Kroos, Ramos and Marcelo left him and Varane to face the elements. His cynicism is very much justified.

Casemiro doesn't look like the shouting type but I personally would have been in a proper fight with Kroos today.

I don't want to say with it that Liga in an easy league, but the axiommatic discussions on leagues are overrated and often garbage, there are many factors that influence performances and they can't be locked up in a league

Casemiro did great, even showed us he is great on the ball with his feet. Probably our best performer that night.

Lope must have fed him something because Casemiro in these 2 latest games actually is dribbling Shocked

Modric was my pick for man of the match. He may have faded out as the game went on, and he was ultimately taken off, but he's been doing that for some time now. He's getting older. If anyone on our team looked confident on the ball, it was him. I haven't seen anyone mention how he tracked back, and was our only player at the back during their second goal. Ceballos should've definitely started in place of Kroos.
