Pavard was quite good in this game at least. That was the highlight. Kid has Bayern written all over him.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
A couple of good games this weekend.
Starting with the epic Hertha- Gladbach showdown, then Bayern away auf Schalke, easy 3 points tbh, at 18:30h.
Tomorrow, Leipzig-Frankfurt is an interesting game.
While Leipzig lost at home against Salzburg in EL, with Rangnick having a melt down, Frankfurt somehow managed a win in Marseille, and Frankfurt's manager Adi Hütter aka Adolf H. was Salzburgs manager under DoF Rangnick, who fired Hütter despite a double win of league and cup.
Let's see who has the last laugh.

Forgot to add BVB-Hoffenheim!!
Yeah Nagelsmann usually plays 3 at the back, though 4-3-3s have also happened IIRC

Considering he is still only 32, do you think he is going to be a legit coach or a fraud? There is hype surrounding him and I have to say finishing 3rd with Hoffenheim and playing in the champions league is a great achievement.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
He's 31.
Whatever happens, Nagelsmann is definitively not a fraud. What he's done at Hoffenheim over the past 3 seasons is exceptional.
No idea how he'll fare at Leipzig or whether he'll ever become the successful manager of a top or elite club (I'd bet he will), but these past years already have been more than legit. Miraculous, really.

Yeah his time at Hoffenheim is certainly impressive, no doubt. Maybe I didn't ask the right question, I meant if you think he is good enough to make it a top club, and judging by that, he certainly will be.

You never know. Circumstances, luck, these things all play a role.
But the step isn't that far anymore, after all, he's taken Hoffenheim to CL

Hertha leading against Gladbach
Wolfsburg losing at home to Freiburg.. Labbadia
Bundesliga club management is absolutely shocking, laughable, in some cases tbh

I kept defending the league, but it's really become boring. The bottom half always is surprising, though.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
For some reason I though you were from Berlin, I actually thought you were an Ossie. But anyhow, if the laegue was to stop today Werder would be second place and comfortably in the UCl. Oddly enough I am in the east of kanada and it is wierd, my sister in hamburg will not talk to the ossies and i am starting to understqnnd it, like here in eatern kanada, you can by wine all night but not beer in new brunswick? I mean maybe it is me, I have been drinking for a week straight, but I think, here in Saint john, I can only buy cider and wine and not beer ? Like is wine supposed to be somehow less drunk making than beer??? And weed is soon to be legal, it is already legal in Maine, just let me buy some fricking beer FFS.
On an outisde note , tidal bay wines will soon rule the earth, they are the coors light of wine and yes I hate coors lite.
Anyhow, yeah Werder forever Bayern never
