This really is the day to watch football, you have el klassizistisch and I really think BVB will win it, even though the midweek scores suggest Bayern. You have the first leg of the el superclassico copa libertadores final and finally the man is showing the Hoff on tv here on the iceberg. For those who dont know, Hoffenheim is the most attractive and exciting team in European football.

Not a lot happening after the first half anywhere and what is happening is not very good.
Nürnberg - Stuttgart (Sa.) -:- (0:0)
Hoffenheim - Augsburg -:- (0:0)
Hoff started showing signs of life towards the end of the half.
Bremen - Gladbach -:- (0:1)
Freiburg - Mainz -:- (0:2)
Düsseldorf - Hertha -:- (0:0)

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
The Hoff game was so unHofflike and was getting boring, all it needed was a little Reese Nelson to make it good.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
I dont understand how Adam Szalai is starting over Reese Nelson? More Hofflike performance at the end of the game. All the other games were upsets, or at least unexpected results. All the relegation teams won, didnt get them out of the relegation zone, but at least they won.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
I guess I am the only one who thinks Dortmund can win this, Bayern are the betting favourites, by a good margin.

It is only half time, but it looks like the Shoe Slappers are going to win this, Dortmund not showing anything to make me think otherwise. Schade.

Oh wait, Mamhoud Dahoud is going to rescue this game for BVB. Saving Paco for the end I guess.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
The rule used to be that the fouled guy should never take the penalty, Reus proves that wrong. I think it was Dahoud witht the pass for Reus leading to the pk.

Here comes El Paco!
Kimmich just goal line saved Reus, who was perfectly set up by young Sancho.

Some of the most disgraceful finishing techniques from the Dortmund players. Infuriating.

El Paco continues his phenomenal scoring rate of a goal like every 10 minutes or something like that

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
If you look up "decline" in a dictionary, it says FC Bayern 2018/19
This is what decline looks like.
Ribery, Robben it's obvious for years, I mean they're in their mid to late 30s
But now, Neuer, what a decline
Martinez, Hummels, Müller what a decline
A whole team of former world class player in decline, with a couple of absolute scrubs added

Ribery actually looked good in this one. But yeah... i mean he's really old.

Ribery's been the better of the two this and last season, he still has good games. Robben is completely finished, can't do anything anymore.

Phew... a bit edgy there at the end, but justice for all and BVB hang on.

What a game this was! Much prefer this Bayern to the dominant one we usually see!
