well, stellen is "put somewhere" most of all, so lots of those are just the combination of put and the direction or place where to put it.
auf (put on sth, put up sth), ab (put away, put down), zurück back, zu- put in the way of/close down,

It's like "-pone"/position from ponere in Latin. Postpone, Juxtaposition, superposition, opposite, etc

Just a very basic word or meaning-core. Surely a nightmare to learn? How are you doing with tha Ion Very Happy ?

It definitely is a nightmare to learn. On one hand you have some guidelines, like you said, which  gives you some kind of logical direction, but on the other hand for example:
* einstellen can mean set-up, adjust, stop, hire depending on the context;
* bestellen means to order;
* erstellen means to create
* vorstellen is funny, can mean to present (yourself), but if it's use in a reflexive construction with Akkusativobjeckt (sich etwas vorstellen) means to imagine ..
The idea is that you have so many nuances, that there's no other way to learn them other than a lot of practice; and *stellen is more or less a simple example.
And what it's also killing me is the gender of the noun. I kind of know for example the declination of the adjective, based on the casus of the noun and presence of un/bestimmte artikel, but in the end it comes down to the gender of the noun, you have to know it, otherwise you're hit and hope. I don't know how you guys can remember all the nouns gender, you have certain endings of course that help you, but it's a small amount of nouns. I guess one tip could be, that if you remember for example a construction with that noun, that has "dem" in it in dativ, you know it's masculine, if in genitiv it has 'der' it's feminine and so on.

You should consider giving german classes, there are so many people wanting to learn German around, seriously.

Good God Huub Stevens has been dire for almost a decade, Total dinosaur. Schalke cannot be more of a running joke the way they are managed now :facepalm:

Yes, it is true, the Bundesliga sucks, not even the Eintracht performance can take that away, it has essentially become a farm league for the WWEpl, for both players and coaches.

I suspect a few Frankfurt players will be going that way. Did not realize Rebic was n loan from Benfica. So he will be gone anyhow

Yes, the Bundesliga is still clean and pure and young, with fan ownership and great support and interesting young talents, but that horrible, frightened, skilless performance by Bayern vs Liverpool (take nothing away from Liverpool and their high intensity press) was just fucking terrible. I wont even mention Schalke.

Today will dictate if I stop watching football until the Women World Cup or if I hold out hope for BVB to turn it around and at least make things interesting until the end of the season. Today will dictate if I consume massive amount of beer and Vodka due to BVB losing to Hertha or drink massive amount of beer and vodka to celebrate that their is still life in the old liga.

Wolfsburg - Düsseldorf
Handsome Bruno will be leaving the VW factory at the end of the season. Fortun has been very good this year, would not surprise me if they get something from this game.

Schalke 04 - Leipzig
New Manager Effect -it is a real thing, go look up NME-will not work this time.

Stuttgart - Hoffenheim
The Hoff needs this, then again VFB needs to distance itself from relegation.

Augsburg - Hannover
Meh, both tems could get relegated for all I care

Hertha BSC - Dortmund
I got a bad feeling Hertha win this one.

Gladbach - Freiburg (Fr.) 1:1 (1:1)
Gotta say I love how Streich was so adamantly dismissing the referee calls everytime one of his players broke an opponents leg with a dangerous tackle.

Leverkusen - Bremen (So.)
OK, I will still continue to watch football this season if Werder beat the Pretenders

Frankfurt - Nürnberg
The lone hope of the Bundesliga, at least plays entertaining football and have good attacking players. Should be an easy win for them.

FC Bayern - Mainz

Did I mention how shit Bayern played in the midweek? Just terrible, so afraid to pass half, so afraid to make passes, so afraid to go forward. They really dont deserve to win the league after that performance.

I know Hans will say it is down to Kovac, OK maybe the fear thing partially is, but even Pep would not get this team past Liverpool or any other decent team for that matter.

On that note, I excpect Kovac is gone at the end of the season to be replaced by some old dinosaur of the past, Hitzfeld, Rehaggel, Felix, i dont know, maybe Franz himself, maybe Klinsmann, that would be funny. They just re-use these guys over and over. Recycling is actually the wrong term, it is reusing, which from an environmental perspective is much better than recycling. Maybe that is why they do it, it is just that much better for the planet.

The New Manager Effect is skewed towards Brit Pop IMO.

Imagine thinking the Stone Roses are a top5 band in history Laughing

You mean NME is an actual thing???? Apparently they like Franz Ferdinand at first.

NME: "this is the best band ever, you should like them, because we do, and we are god, you know that, yes we are god, and you are just a little piece of shit. did i mention that i was journalist?"

2 years later, NME: "THAT BAND IS BORING, BLAND, UNORIGINAL, THEY THINK THEY'RE THE BEATLES"

Meanwhile in the 2nd div, HSV throw away a two goal lead and lose to Darmrstadt in the last minute.

The backheel clearance attempt by Sane in his own 6 yard box did not have enough NME in it. Werner eventually scores and the idea of Schalke in the 2nd div is looking more and more likely.

It has been tough going finding a good illegal Russian stream, had to settle for a lesser quality German stream. No one does illegal stuff as well as the Russians.

Just remember, that sometimes NME take 45 minutes to take affect. Wait a minute, is it effect or affect?

Nope. Not actually aware that is really a thing? Betting site streams?

Usually getting my streams from reddit though even that has been difficult lately.
PL has cracked down on streaming increasingly AFAIK, and as we both know in Germany we are relying for quality illegal ripping and streaming on Russia as much as we are relying on them for heating gas.
I prefer acestream too but lately there have been too few and there's usually a couple of pretty good flash streams.

I shared a DAZN subscription a while but tbh for the thing it would be useful, Premier League, I ultimately rather get the original English commentary via illegal streams than actually paying for the DAZN guys' commentary, which isn't bad, but is just not the wholesome product that original English commentary on top of PL games is.
Won't ever give a Pfennig, or Euro-cent, to Sky and Rupert Murdoch as long as I can avoid it.

I never used the betting steams (like 365) but I know of other Germans who did use them with success, but that was years ago. The flash streams are not bad, the one I watched today was OK. I was just trying to use the poor quality as an excuse for me not totally agreeing with you on the non call pk.

I did not miss the first half due to shit streams, i actually went to the gym, inorder to justify my heavy drinking tonight. Everybody iss Irish today. But even with my out dated old Abox in the basement, I found a stream in no time at Rojadirecta.
