I wouldn't be surprised if the IP I see behind his account points to somewhere in Greenwich Village or Tribeca.

Another Earth (2011)
Don't you love watching films that offers a fresh plot?
I really liked this one. It was quite a sad film though. There was no uplifting atmosphere at any point. However the film was still very gripping.
That ending though. Loved it eventhough it raises 100 questions.
Also, Brit Marling is absolutely gorgeous.

think I raved about this one in early GL days.
Watch the other films with her and Mike Cahill and Zal Batman if you haven't. Pretty fresh sci-fi all around.
Sound of My Voice
The East
I Origins
The latter is my favourite of them. Haven't watched The OA though

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
Just watched a movie which tells of @Unique entering the world of Goallegacy.
It's about an old-fashioned chauvinist East London gangster fleeing from his mob pals who want to kill him into the Notting Hill hipster artists commune house of Mick Jagger, in 1968, where he poses as an artist, takes a mushroom trip, wears a wig and makeup, fooling around with a French and a German bohemian girl (the stunning Anita Pallenberg).
'Performance' by Nicolas Roeg. Good stuff.
I must say I'm very stoned though.

Haven't seen The Raids but I think the gore is worse. Just noticed that both the main actors are in The Raid too.

Melancholia (2011)
I really can't remember seeing a film that has overwhelmed me as much as melancholia. I have so much to say but i don't know where to start. It's an absolutely incredible film that depicts depression and existential dread in ways as i have never seen before anywhere. The end and specially the last 20 minutes...it left me speechless. Few films would make you stare blankly at the screen after the ending. Such overwhelming emotions. It was almost suffocating. Not to mention visually stunning.
The acting was outstanding by both Kirsten Dunst and Charlotte Gainsbourg. That was Oscar worthy acting by Dunst. Think it's my first Lars Von Trier film and I am definitely planning to see his other work after this.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
Idioterne was the only other of his films I’ve watched. He hired porn actors to do hardcore penetration for the sex scenes in that one. Messed up dude, but I respect it.
Can’t wait for his new film mainly because of my girl Riley Keough

I Origins (2014)
First thing I have to say is that Will Bates has become one of my favourite soundtrack artist. Another Earth and now I Origins. Amazing score.
I loved the film overall. I think Mike Cahill deserves to make a big budget film. He is really talented and there is always freshness about his films.

Lots of critics saying Malek's performance is the bomb, but Bohemian Rhapsody doesn't have much going for it besides that.
Bryan Singer directing a biopic drama, I should have known.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
Was wondering why a 1953 remastered film is worth 45GB. Turns out i downloaded the entire BD with commentary and everything ffs. This Clown telling me how the director is changing camera every 2 mins. I can see that ffs. Had to switch him off.

I was a child child when the first couple came out, so I never really caught the fan craze.

The original Bad Boys was, along with Speed, my first action movie I paid attention to and understood.
2 was a cash grab, but I liked it alot anyway. I'm hyped for 3.
