There are many ifs and buts regarding many things like referee and pussy of a team as PSG. But the fact is it will be difficult now for Liverpool winning cleanly enough to go through against the best defence of the group. But luckily the last game is at Anfield.

Thuggery, diving and time wasting aside it was an appalling display. Salah truly shit, did absolutely nothing

Baffles me how Henderson remains in our team to this day bar his public media represensation but yes heart, mackem grit and courage etc. Reached his ceiling 3 years ago. Time to move on.

It is a miracle really that with such pathetically imbalanced midfield Liverpool reached last season's CL and now we are still 2nd in the league being unbeaten Laughing

He's the most useless player I have ever seen getting consistent play time. How is he our captain is beyond me. Average at everything.

I think Henderson has regressed out of choice. He used to be a smart box-to-box guy who would make runs forward at right times, catching defences off guard and scoring a handful of goals in a season. Now he's only 28 but plays like he's 38. A pure defensive mid who contributes nothing in attack, apart from an occasional good long ball forward. I used to like him, but he's chosen to play in a way that makes him actually worse than he could be.

Napoli and PSG have been the best 2 teams in the group so far... so there's nothing wrong with the table.

Liverpool has no idea how to play on the road. Maybe they can beat Napoli by 2 goals or more at home? It's possible.

Klopp just likes to take his time fixing things. Took him 3 years to fix the defence and another 2 years to fix the MF so after 5 years we should be pretty solid we just need to be patient cheers

That is why Thiago Silva along with his best friend David Luiz are made for each other and likely cry when they share a Cocada.

Both cried copious amounts of times in the 2014 Brazil World cup. After their group stage victory, before penalties, after, after the 7-1 route. Silva did so countless times in Milan win or lose.

Moving on, Henderson was not regressed in anyway. He has not declined either as when we had him our aims and tactical demands were far lower and given this is the best squad we've had in over 5 years, he is bound to be exposed for what he is; merely an above average but highly limited end to end midfielder who simply just isnt good enough for a very technical squad.

Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group C

I had high hopes in Liverpool this season, especially with the inclusion of supposedly good players like Fabinho and Keita. I thought last year they were very good and the new additions would give them that extra edge.

Sadly both sat on the bench today which means they aren't good enough. Add the fact that Salah's form is gone and he's not a difference maker anymore and they actually look worse than last season.

Regarding this match, Liverpool should have sat back and defended. They didn't need a win and a draw would have been fine for them. Against the trio PSG have in attack, pressing was a poor idea. Someone said Klopp can't play otherwise. I say he can. He can and he did against Manchester City in CL last season. Liverpool played a game of two halves in that match. One of high pressing to destruct Manchester City's rhythm and win the ball up field and once they were up they started defending with 11 men behind the ball, and did it in style.

Let's face it, even if we had focused on defending, we would have still ended up conceding goals given PSG's attacking prowess. The problem was that we were not creating enough proper chances, which has been an issue for us since a long time now; our forwards' individual brilliance has saved us from time and time again. Robertson was our only creative outlet today ffs. There is no one in that midfield who can provide an unpredictable pass once a while.

I thought Fabinho/Keita would send Henderson to the reserves, what is Klopp's first choice midfield? I'm genuinely confused. Flopp's been all over media crying about Neymar Laughing

No way Liverpool keep a clean sheet against Napoli. If they give up a goal, then they have to win by 2.

not just naymar he said most of them were play acting but naymar is the worst one. i think we have all known that for a long time i just dont understand why no one has snapped him in half when i used to play we a saying about people that play act. if they are gonna go down crying like a little girl then give them something to go down for. the liverpool players are to nice imo.
