Real Madrid v Leganes

Post by halamadrid2 on Fri Aug 31, 2018 11:55 am

Another one of those teams that beat us last season. They have better players than last season but they aren't as compact as last season. Should be an easy game

Want us to rotate players but with the internationals coming up why bother right?

Lope hinting at Keylor starting again. He can't just bench the best goalie in Europe now can he. Keylor not called up to Costa Rica either. Uff, Costa Rica helping him win the GK battle

I think we should rest our most injury prone players that have played alot

Navas
Odriozola-Varane-Nacho-Reguillon
Modric-Casemiro-Ceballos
Lucas-Benz-Asensio

This team should do it. I hope Lope doesn't become like those coaches who play the starters all the time. He already made that mistake in the Super Cup. This is a perfect game for the bench players to start and for Vinicious to get some minutes

I forgot Lucas is still at the club. Also, pretty sure it's gonna be the usual starters starting. Leganes really isn't a team Lope should be underestimating.

Lucas goes through the same situation every season. Starts the season last in the pecking order, finishes the season just short of starting CL finals. Invaluable squad member imo. His crosses will mean sonwthing now too with Mariano coming back

As long as we're winning and picking up the three points, I have nothing to complain about. I realize that Lopetegui wasn't given the best of attacks, and for that reason alone, I won't hold him responsible if we fail.

Also I totally agree with hala, Lucas is an amazing squad player. Too talented to be on the bench, but not too talented to start. Those are the players you need on your bench.

I swear you guys live in a dream world, benzema goals have all come from crosses, so don't see the point of lying everyday that crosses are being wasted on him, such stupid posts over and over, stick to counting goals cause you guys can't track cf movement its evident going by bale or asensio as c.f. posts, can't wait for Benz to dominate this season just to reads the lies you guys gonna pull out of asses and pretend is true in your dream world, I bet every time Benz scores a header you cough up blood Laughing.

Love how you backing mariano as a god send time to rally behind him to push the agenda, I noticed everybody tip toeing around Benz form since preseason which has been great and clearly hurting all if you.

Hope he bags hattrick today.

we should make easy work of leganes, watched them last week and the defense looked shaky, unless they get some sudden burst of energy against us and lock down defensively we should get all 3 points from this no problem

How did we manage to fudge up against Pathetico man. They have struggled all preseason and the start of the season

Okay, that was a very harsh yellow for Modric. Certainly a foul, but yellow? Debatable.

Yep, that was a legit penalty. Even though it appeared to be a very hard call to make, Case definitely made contact with him.

Also, it would've been the perfect start for Courtois, had he blocked it. oh well...

Casemiro is terrible. Tired of him playing in these games. Does more harm than good.

What does he offer against these teams really?

His defensive presence is valuable, but as soon as we can find a better pivot he is replaceable for sure

yeah he's brainless, but to be fair to him, Eraso would've definitely scored either way. It's a defender instinct; when the opposition is in a great scoring opportunity, you foul them and pray the referee doesn't see you.

Is Asensio allergic to defending?

If that’s his defending instinct he should never play again. He’s gotten away with so much shit during the years. It’s all gonna come back now with VAR.

Also doubt he’d have scored for certain. Maybe if Navas was in goal.
