Sure it‘s the Carabao Cup, but it‘s the only trophy Mourinho could‘ve realistically won this season.

I‘m so happy.

Always thought Lampard could make an excellent manager and by the looks of it he might be doing a good job

5 wins in 8 in the Championship and now a big cup scalp certainly isn't the worst start to his managerial career.

Derby have spent the last few seasons bottling promotion runs and play-off finals so it's not the easiest job, either. But he looks to have injected some fresh enthusiasm into them, if nothing else.

That's not to say we aren't utterly shit. Mourinho has absolutely got to go but the board are cowards and only care about $. Season is a write-off. I'm just hoping we can beat Juve and I can troll Surag tbh. Highlight of the season.

I stand by my own opinion that Utd post SAF has a lot of similarities to Madrid between 2005 to 2009. Spending plenty while playing mediocre football.

Baaaaaaaahahahahahaha~!!! Lampard beats Mourinho Very Happy What a goal that was, Bale like Smile

Mourinho actually clearly took the game quite seriously as you can see from his reactions Loool, still not that long ago he used to say this competition was a waste of time, yet he cant even get through a lower league side nowadays rofl

They can't rename it, as per the terms of the deal.

The FA can veto any sponsorship deals involving Wembley, which includes naming rights. They can also buy the stadium back for £100m if it falls below UEFA's standard for elite stadiums.

Also, "selling the England team" is way too overdramatic. England are still going to play there. People are still going to recognise it as England's national stadium regardless of who owns the thing. The FA are essentially handing over responsibility of maintaining it to Shahid Khan.

The sale still has to be approved by the bored, but there's a lot of pressure to accept since it's a £600m windfall for English football.

New Wembley is soulless anyway. It has no where near the charm or atmosphere of the old stadium and international game there feels like a pre-season friendly. I'd much rather England played in places like Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds for a proper atmosphere.

Jose Mourinho has admitted Manchester United were in trouble when they had to call on Phil Jones and Eric Bailly to take penalties in their Carabao Cup exit to Derby.

United crashed out of the competition at the third-round stage 8-7 on penalties after a 2-2 draw with Frank Lampard's side in normal time at Old Trafford.

Fifteen perfect penalties took the shootout to sudden death where Scott Carson sealed Derby's progression with a low save to deny United defender Jones.

both Gerrard and Lampard are bossing their managerial careers so far more or less.

Maybe finally they can work together as co-managers of England NT one day?

Somewhat like Soderberg-Lagerback duo in Sweden back in 2004
