He and Mancini were a deadly duo up front.

Yes, it's been long enough. Simeone needs to do a lot better.

This HT came at the wrong time, really entertaining game.

Will miss Zampa, he was always a character, but obviously drove the club to the ground

The performances of our fullbacks have been outstanding this season. De Sciglio, Cancelo, Sandro, all have been terrific so far. Great balance of attacking prowess and defensive solidity.

Only midfield seems to be an issue but hopefully it gets fixed over time. We are so strong everywhere else. Best team in the world ffs

Yeah fullback went from a weak point to one of our highlights. They all offer something great and something different.

Even the midfield is better than I expected. Matuidi looks young again and Pjanic is Pjanic. With Bentancur growing like this we should have no obvious problems there.

As many doubts I deliberately place upon Cutrone given our penchant to hype any of our youth players as The New [insert Serie A legend]

There is no doubt that countless times he has come in absolutely clutch (big teams or no) and remains only 20.

His footballing IQ is beautiful.

Lost count of how many counters we have produced only followed by the final third pass being ruined by either Borini or Kessie (5 times) having horse blinders clearly blind the open options right next to them.

I honestly think Milan is the only team that gets worse each season

Then again, they haven't had a proper man in charge since mad Max left

2-1.

Never can shake off this complete lack of domination no matter who Milan face, in always having to go to a tense war to squeeze through the slightest results. Utterly depleted squad it may be and a Zapata in the back, if the team does not make progress in the backline and their midfield gap, each game will truly be gone into with a 50-50 gander the conclusion itself.

3 points regardless, a scrappy win.

Side note:

Patrick Cutrone
38 starts
25 goals
7 assists
for Milan
Only 20 years old.

Credits his launch to his idols Andrea Belotti and Alvaro Morata.
I suppose picking CFs of such standard to look up to inversely launches you above them.

The winter market can't come soon enough, need to see what Paqueta is made of, need Paredes and a back up CB as well, this team can still place in the top 4 with some luck.
