Mandzukic basically a none threat even if balls are not coming his way within the box as just like last game he was marshalled perfectly by Jimenez and Godin.

Juventus need a player who can drop deeper and take them out of their element rather than a physical player who will take players on just as scrappy as him to hope for a finish.

This match basically sums why Allegri needs to come out of his shell for the more crucial moments of the season as his pragmatism when it comes to a team ridden with individual talent has cost them and tonight they produced by far their best performance of the season, at least in this half.

Mandzukic needs to go out though as he does not fit this mobile system and is basically a square peg in a round hole between Godin and Jimenez.

A 2nd goal is possible but not as much given Atleti have a succinct taste of Juventus' game plan and will close out the game.

Even if so increasingly are showing more and more holes in their defence as a result of their desperation. to push it forward and doing so without an attacking box to box midfielder is costing them.

Rodri from Atlético has impressed me a lot. He is so calm and composed on the ball and does a good defensive job too. No wonder he's getting called up for the NT.

Never seen Spinazzola player but he seems like a solid player. Perhaps not as fancy as Cuadrado but he looks pretty quick and without doubt better than Sandro

For me, I'd like Juventus to bring on Dybala for Bernardeschi and Bentancur for Matuidi if they are still trailing.
