Ronaldo, Dybala, Mandzukic, Cuadrado and Costa are currently injured. Only Dybala may recover.

Spinazzola, one of our most in form players, is also injured for 10-15 days so will miss Ajax when he should have started.

It doesn't matter, Khedira will probably recover, so all our worries will be for naught.

He was even "better" at the second goal. Could have easily just put his foot there, but he decided to go down to catch the ball.

This.....doesn't invalidate my original point.

Great performance from the team tonight. Focused all the way unlike vs Genoa and Empoli. Great control of the match in the middle of an injury crisis.

Bernardeschi assists the first one, Kean scores the second one, Bonucci motm, Pjanic bossed and Bentancur with his best minutes of 2019.

“Kean knows that when he scores a goal, he has to focus on celebrating with his teammates. He knows he could’ve done something differently too," Bonucci told Sky Sports Italia .

“There were racist jeers after the goal, Blaise heard it and was angered. I think the blame is 50-50, because Moise shouldn’t have done that and the Curva should not have reacted that way.

“We are professionals, we have to set the example and not provoke anyone.”

In unrelated news, Totti is coming out of retirement to kick up Moise Kean on the field.

Terrible comments by Bonucci. That's not how we're going to end racism in football.

'50-50' Laughing

What a dolt.

I don't know why we brought this numpty back again.

He's being racially abused for fuck sake and he can celebrate any way he wants. That is none of Bonucci's business. Im glad he gave it back to the racist scumbags.

If he was sulking and acting lethargic on the field like Balo , it would have been another matter but the boy is always trying to make something happen. Really ridiculous to criticize someone for a celebration that is barely provocative especially after he's being racially abused.

For a man who counter-attacked two robbers who held his family at gunpoint out of his house with his bare hands, some very defeatist comments by Leo there.

Of course it stems from the keep out of trouble mentality but the problem is not tackled by simply avoiding ways to incite racism, but to quash it itself.

That 50/50 comment is major BS. Terrible thing to say.

The point about not engaging the racists is good though. For his own sake it's never good to go down that road.  Good thing is he replied the best way on the pitch, played better and better as the match went on and even after the goal kept trying to make more things happen to shut them up.

It reports me to those times when Balotelli , young Inter player , was attacked from racist jeers (also from Juve ultras, especially from them) but the racism was justified because of his behaviour

TBF if Kean, or Balotelli for that matter, weren't so black they wouldn't be so abused. So clearly both sides are to blame.

2 times in Cagliari already. Next time should be points deduction for the club. Manage your idiots please.

What Allegri said was much more on point
"In life, there are imbeciles who do stupid things. We must use cameras to identify them. You report them and ban them forever, it's simple. Tools are available [to stop racism] the problem is you don't want to."

Which is clear at this point, when even Bonucci gives those guys an excuse. And even more clear after reading Cagliari's owner comments... "Matuidi is overreacting, there is no drama here etc" Rolling Eyes

You didn't fix anything you simply removed all nuance from the post. It's a big problem in Italy, and as my post says, it's a bigger problem with Cagliari. Their president, Giulini, encourages and defends this.

It did. Balo was abused just the same and the reasoning was, more or less, the same as well. Good old fashion victim blaming, always a treat.

Awful stuff from Bonucci and Allegri.

Bonucci always looked like an idiot so not surprised he said that but disappointed in Allegri.

Can't believe how this still happens in Italy. Nothing has changed since the days of Seedorf getting racially abused on a weekly basis to this. Same old Serie A.

What the hell did Allegri do wrong?? He defended Kean post match, condemend the racists, said they should get a lifetime ban, and complimented Kean's inteligent handling of the sutuation and his level of play.

He was his usual classy self with the comments on point
