30 outta 33 for me. Could not for the life remember Amoroso was a leading goalscorer. No idea Bari had a top scorer in the name of Protti and I kept confusing Vialli with Ravenelli for unknown reasons.

Straight up guessed Hubner was a goalscorer for Piacenza as I remember someone was joint with Trezeguet back in '02. And well, I remember Lucarelli had like 1 legit fine season.

And it took me 11 minutes in total. Sigh.

Please don't be provincial

He plays a 4-3-1-2.

Go figure.

And can you guess why all of a sudden Berlusconi had a sudden talk with him? I'll let you surmise Laughing

Coaches like these even if attacking in their fantasista dream suddenly become provinciale in their mindset post jump to a big club due to the stakes and exposure at hand.

I will not cue my usual reasons to find positivities in our new manager as I usually do out of a coping method.

We know where this will go and especially with our most depressing Summer mercato ever (based on the names targeted)

Wtf

Sabatini appointed as my local club Impact's sporting coordinator would you believe
Bologna has the same owner and now he'll be in charge of both clubs. This is part of a big revamp, competent men are hired at every managerial position and Sabatini is the icing on the cake. 1 year ago his Roma team made it to the CL semi finals. Unreal ambizione @Nick Proud

Milan have officially withdrawn from next season’s Europa League after reaching an agreement with UEFA over Financial Fair Play.

A Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) statement reads:

“The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has issued a Consent Award embodying the agreement reached between AC Milan S.p.A and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) concerning breaches of the UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations by the Italian club.

“i. The Decision rendered by the Adjudicatory Chamber of the UEFA Club Financial Control Body in the case AC-05/2018 on 20 November 2018 (i.e. decision under appeal in the CAS 2018/A/6083 matter) is set aside.

“ii. The Decision rendered by the Investigatory Chamber of the UEFA Club Financial Control Body on 10 April 2019 (i.e. decision under appeal in the CAS 2018/A/6261 matter) is set aside.

“iii. The decisions referred to under item i) and ii) above are replaced by the following order: "AC Milan is excluded from participating in the UEFA Club Competitions of the sporting season 2019/2020 as a consequence of the breach of its FFP break-even obligations during the 2015/2016/2017 and the 2016/2017/2018 monitoring periods".

“iv. The Adjudicatory Chamber of the UEFA Club Financial Control Body is invited to issue a Procedural Order, acknowledging the outcome of the present arbitration(s) and terminating the AC-01/2019 proceedings relating to the 2016/2017/2018 monitoring period, which have become moot.

“v. The costs of the proceedings CAS 2018/A/6083 and CAS 2019/A/6261 shall be borne by AC Milan.

“vi. Each Party shall bear its own costs.

“vii. The CAS Award shall be made public.”

The compromise satisfies both UEFA and Milan, as it not only proves the intent of one of the governing body’s member clubs to balance their books, but it also gives the Rossoneri more time to get back on track.

UEFA has already suspended proceedings against the Diavolo over FFP until after their ongoing appeal to the CAS from last year is resolved.

It then emerged that Milan had no hearing scheduled with CAS before August 14, effectively confirming their availability for the Europa League group stage.

However, the San Siro side have managed to negotiate an ‘all-inclusive’ punishment that covers the periods 2014-17 and 2015-18.

Torino could now replace the Milan as Italy’s third Europa League representative, with Roma being admitted directly to the group stage.

And it's not even July yet Laughing

For the periods 15-16-17 AND 16-17-18 ? So it's 2 investigations for more or less the same thing. Good decision by Milan to negociate this punishment. Anyway Europa League is not very important, now they focus 100% on a CL spot.

Rivalry and banter aside, FFP should fuck off. Crooks that have no credibility who have the right to examine clubs finance and impose a tax if they spend too much. How is it supposed to help ?

All right, Juve fans - Is Spinazzola really worth the 3m per year we're about to pay him in exchange for giving you Luca Pellegrini?

He hasn't exactly set the league alight, but true defenders rarely do so that's probably a good thing actually.

Idk the state of your finances and what is the impact of a 3M salary.

But what i know is you won the trade on short term, Spinazzola is legit in both aspects of the full-back position.

Well with selling Manolas, Dzeko, Nzonzi and others, we'll certainly be able to afford that salary for him. If he's as legit as you've said, he'll pay for himself I'm sure. He's flown somewhat under my radar so I guess this was just a real eyebrow raiser.

3M is certainly more to Roma than it is to Juve these days so I don’t know how you’d judge that

I’m definitely a fan. Horrible left foot on a dude who plays left back though. Other than that, he’s solid. Good positioning, decently strong and fast. Great on the cut inside

Spinazzola is easily better at this moment.
A bit surprised about this swap but probably it has to do with financial statement, both get capital gains in this way ( no Idea how I should translate " plusvalenze", a term that is popular for who follows Italian football.. .I doubt English teams care about it...)

In the sense that both clubs will see an upgrade for what they receive, based on potential ? The traduction would be "plus-value" i think

To be honest i don't understand this move, especially that Cancelo is supposedly on the market. Spina is more of a starter quality RB than MDS is. Probably the player asked to leave and we accomodate him.

@McLewis Spinazzola is awesome. If he can stay fit then no doubt you will like him a lot. Enjoy.

@Warrior he thought to leave Juve even in January for more playing time. Alex is our starter, so he prefers to start for Roma than another season on the bench.

Thanks for the insight, guys. He wouldn't be an attractive prospect to us if he didn't have a few dodgy injury issues in his history. He seems genuinely happy to have joined so that's always a good sign. We'll see how it goes.

As for Luca Pellegrini, honestly he didn't impress me last season. He appears to have a mighty high opinion of himself, which is why EDF didn't really use him. I hope he does well though and if he can stay healthy, he's a future starting LB for Italy.

Nicola Gallo: "Véronique Rabiot did not want any media on the airfield. She saw a camera outside and blocked everyone on the plane for 10 minutes. Paraticio had to call her and tell her it was the Juve cameraman."

They signed a complete fucking diva in Rabiot who thinks he is more than what he currently is. I mean, maybe it'll work out, who knows but that is not a good start at all.
