That's a good look on the avatar, Festim.

The forum was very slow for me when I woke up (3 hours ago?), but it's fine now, if that's what you're referring to.

Thanks man. But IDK it works still slow for me. Hope it gets better on the upcoming days.

NO way in hell he is 73 kg. Check the official real madrid website, he's 80kg.

Also something I noticed about ramos. He has the best first touch I've seen from a defender (besides a few), so if he moves to CB, he will have exceptional skills for that position.

i'm still waiting to see a fully mature Ramos. he is my favorite player and all, but he still makes some careless mistakes. i'm glad to say though that his yellow & red card count is decreasing every season. would definitely prefer him as a centre back both at madrid and spain.
one question though: why is it that Ramos always seems to score more goals when the season is coming to a close?

He is too immature to become our vice captain imo, then again we select our captains based on number of games.

LOL, better than having Marcelo wear the arm badge.

Don't get me wrong, I love Marcelo's football play, but Marcelo and Real Madrid captain just don't sound right at the moment.

How is your contract renewal going?

When it’s definitive, and everything is signed, you’ll know, but we’re not there yet. There’s been a very important rapprochement and the agreement is almost total. I’m happy and I want to retire in this club. I’m very happy in Real Madrid and I’m not considering anything else other than continuing to play in white.

Do you see yourself as the Maldini of Madrid?

He’s been my reference and my idol and I would be proud to have my name signify in Madrid what his does in Milan.

Ramos is the most cliche guy on the team, even moreso than CR.

He will be an awesome CB though.

Without Puyol is it better to play with Albiol as CB and Ramos as RB, or with Ramos as CB and Arbeloa as RB.

If you ask me, I'm for Ramos + Arbeloa.

No question about this. Albiol is just hanging on to NT role bcause we don't have any Cbs ready yet. There are 2 pretty good ones with U21 (Dominguez and Botia), but they are not ready yet. They or someone else needs to be by next WC since both Puyol and Marchena will be gone. So the choice for CB now (replacing Puyol) is Ramos (Puyol's eventual successor and team captain) or Marchena. They have done both without Puyol. A lot depends on opponent, importance of game and whether or not Arbeloa is playing LB. Right now he is more effective at LB than Capdevila.

He's still quite young, but how would he, a RB replace Albiol, a CB? IF you are referring to Selecciones, there are several underage FBs both left and right in youth teams to come in and replace Capdevila and Ramos (once he goes full time to CB) plus you have Monreal also available for LBand we can count on Arbeloa and Iraola. The issue is CB, once Marchena and Puyol go (probably after Euro), we only have Pique, Ramos and Albiol. We need some of the younger players to step up. I have no confidence in Albiol at all.

I have been impressed with Botia, although I like Dominquez as well. Botia plays for Gijon. It takes a lot of maturity to play CB for NT(and experience). Albiol regrettably gets the nod for now.

Chelsea prepares for Ramos OFERTON

Chelsea Ramos wants to have next season and will make an offer to Madrid. This information appeared yesterday in The People. According to British media, the new coach Villas-Boas would have spoken to Abramovich to transfer the interest in Real Madrid and Chelsea owner is considering to table 45 million euros.

The People also alleged statements were issued by Rene Ramos, brother and representative of the second white captain: "Sergio deserves better treatment from Madrid for the work he has done and its quality." However, this newspaper contacted Rene and denied he had said these words: "I never talked to them. I am very upset because only looking for controversy.'ll Talk to my advisors to discuss the case."
Situation.

The truth is that, although not yet made official (will be in July), Ramos, 25, has renewed with Madrid for six more seasons (as published on May 17 AS), allowing it to continue 2017. In addition, his salary goes from 3.5 to 4.5 million. Mou will not part with him but, again according to The People, a great deal would change his mind.

i really dont think ramos would look for money unless its bigger than expected
