That's not a bad decision in real time, most people would call that onside, and Sterling isn't even gaining a significant advantage, so why does it need to be ruled out?
nothing to do with technology, that's just poor ref judgement

Re: 2019/2020 Premier League Discussion: Prologue
To be frank, this is not a VAR problem, it's an offside rule problem. The rule may need to be updated because VAR makes things so precise now. It looks a bit ridiculous to cancel a goal because your arm is 2 mm offside. The referee is enforcing the rule, nothing they can do about that, it's really black and white stuff right now

Same case with some of the "handballs" we've seen in previous tournaments.
They'd never get given in real time but slowing down and seeing something from a million different angles clouds the referees judgment.

This is like the Women's world cup implementation without the ref running to the TV. Hate it. Hate it.

City always trash West Ham.
West Ham are a nice team to play against. Lots of attackers and flair players who don't enjoy defending, and a manager who loves to attack teams. They always leave space.

I told you about VAR
We've had this problem in Serie A last seaon
I hope with its intro to BPL, its magnified and can be more criticized, last year it fell on deaf ears

What problem? much less refereeing errors?
ridiculous to hate on VAR simply because the standards for judging it are that much higher. It's by far a net positive on refereeing

Encroachment and keeper off his line.
Allow that one. That type of stuff goes on way too much.
