Harry Wilson only scores bangers.

He's an average player otherwise, but he'll stay relevant because he scores beautiful goals.

Relax mate, Origi is way better than Wilson (though I wouldn't mind if he was kept as backup). Kent sale/loan didn't materialize but expect him to be shipped-off in January too.

No Eriksen, once again. He's on the bench.

I'm pretty sure Poch is beefing with Eriksen based on comments, and is just keeping him around for his quality.

Personally, I don't think Eriksen's quotes on being happy to sign a contract at Tottenham if a big team isn't in for him were genuine. I think he wants to leave regardless and Spurs want to sell him but no one is currently interested.

Just based on my kind of following the saga and looking at it. Fair credit to Eriksen, he's been professional. Puts his all in to the games he has played and hasn't made a fuss.

I get the impression that he wants to move outside of England. The interest from Man United was clear and very public, and I read that they'd received bids from other clubs as well, so if the reports are correct, then the issue was not a lack of suitors. Maybe he was set on moving to Real Madrid? That doesn't look likely to happen as long as Zidane is at the helm, though.

CB i think you're reading too much into it tbh, he's just not playing because we're trash lol.

If he continues to be benched fair enough, but it's too early for that conclusion.

There it is

Spurs should have had a penalty, but I was honestly hoping Newcastle would score, because someone or something needs to happen to put a clue into Poch's head to not play Winks-Sissoko against a team like Newcastle. Also, I've said it once, I've said it a million times, Sanchez isn't good enough.

I've watched both.

Spurs are worse than Manchester United right now.

Some of it is injuries, but honestly Poch has been on full on fraud mode this year. This is the worst he's ever been as a manager

Sanchez on that goal was Mustafi-esque. Standing in space, watching the ball and paying no attention to the threat behind him. He doesn't even look over his shoulder to see if anyone's there.

It's game 3 lmao

NUFC are parking it and got a lucky break, been watching the 2nd half and NUFC have done jack shit so far. Spurs got all the possession but no penetration, which as a team that mostly scores on the counter is something they struggle with

2nd obvious pen this ref has denied Laughing

The problem with VAR is that these types of decisions remain on the hands of poor refs

Lucas missed an absolute sitter too

The PL's "high threshold" at work again, I see. They're consistently not overturning on-field decisions unless someone gets bodied or taken out.

Strange thing is, had Dean given the pen, VAR wouldn't have overturned the decision. So we're no closer to reaching the correct decision because it still comes down the on-field ref at the time.

Lucas, Kane both missed sitters. Two pens denied. One of those games.

But Poch takes the L. Dreadful.

Vertonghen available, goes with Sanchez the first three games. Sanchez is responsible for the goals at Aston Villa and Newcastle.

Lo Celso and Eriksen available --> Chooses Winks-Sissoko double pivot, both of which are 0/10 ability at setting up an offense.

It's really just shocking. He's managing like Emery right now. Sure BC it's 3 games into the season, but it's three terrible games. What's worse? When Poch makes the changes everybody knows he should make at the 60 minute mark, all of a sudden Spurs look like they're going to win. Spurs immediately go from a team who doesn't look like they're going to score at all to a team that is dominating and will inevitably score.

That's really just inexcusable, no matter how many games it's been into the season.

Emery's 3-4-3 diamond with his best players on the bench vs Poch's 4-4-2 diamond with his best players on the bench.

Might just be the worst NLD for some time

give your manager a little bit more respect

Leno
Maitland-Niles --- Sokratis --- David Luiz --- Kolasinac
Xhaka --- Torreira

Pepe --- Lacazette --- Aubameyang

Pepe brace, one each for Laca and Auba
