Canales to Valencia

It looks like Madrid are going to be loaning Sergio Canales to Valencia with maybe an option to buy. This is a great move by Valencia.

Quietly with Malaga, Barca, and Madrid getting all the transfer hype in Spain, Valencia has done very well for very little money. I see them holding on for 3rd place and if they keep Mata and these kids can grow up together they can hold off Malaga for quite a while. Here are the signings, I may be forgetting someone.

Pablo Piatti- 8m

Dani Parejo- 6m

Diego Alves (criminally underrated)- 3m

Adil Rami- 6m

Sergio Canales- Loan

Valencia is farming for Madrid

Marca is reporting that he will go on loan for 2 seasons with an option to buy, but there will be a buy back in the deal for us to buy him in the next two seasons after he is sold.

for once marca is on point on something lol

Just let Canales go, he aint ever going to play with Ozil still around.

Unay Emery is so sooooo under-rated.

Diego Alves is a rated goalie in La Liga so not too sure about the "criminally underrated" part. Also, great signing for Valencia who should be in debt all the time apparently. Just making sense with their transfers.

Much better than when that man signed the like of Fiore, Moretti, Di Vaio, Carew, etc.

Not a fan of Emery myself, i find his rotation work a bit ridiculous, never seen someone changing formation that much.

curious to see where he will fit both canales and parejo tho

Indeed, now changed.

Getting good players upfront with great depth, but they need to fix their defence.

I expect a bit of rotation plus Parejo playing a little deeper every so often, but of course never against Barca/Madrid and never both of them with Banega.

Im too not a fan of emery,inconsistent and too much rotation.ah bad defense also,might be have to do with defenders but still kinda not that great in that department.They could surely get a better coach than him.

Nice transfer by valencia.Parejo,Soldado,Mata,Canales all are potential super stars.

Emery is the Mancini of La Liga

I personally would love to see Valencia go back to the days of Cuper's football where their top scorer had like 10 or 12 goals.

I need to hate them again...

Mancini actually has a plan though .

Perhaps another CB could be obtained and Maduro can be pushed into midfield, he can play either very well.

it's cetainly not a position for position replacement, since they play nothing alike.

still curious about how villarreal messed it up, they just lost Cazorla, and Canales is a perfect fit for the 4222

Valencia is going to sign a wonderkid french CB and they were interested in coates

I would hardly call Parejo and Soldado potential superstars tbh.

Parejo may go on to be a very very good player, but superstar I am doubtful.

Soldado is like 27 aint he? He is about as good as he going to get.

Perhaps, but last season Maduro played superb at CB.

Lugano is likely off to Juve I read.

They could possibly do with another CB, but I like Maduro personally.

yep,Soldado will make a Very good player at best but i have my hopes in Parejo.Just look at Borja valero,none rated him any where near as a average player but now he is selected as a top 3 AM in la liga and got called up for Legendary Spanish NT as a CM.Hard to write off Parejo for me.
