Jese sit down. If anything Callejon deserves to go ahead you if it ever happened :coffee:

Yes because Callejon has been playing so much better....

Callejon 14 goals 3 assists in 2611 minutes - G/A every 153.58 mins

Jese 8 goals 6 assists in 1048 minutes - G/A every 74.85 mins

To give you an idea from his own team:

Ronaldo 34 goals 12 assists in 2783 minutes - G/A every 60.5 minutes
Bale 11 goals 12 assists in 1703 minutes - G/A every 74.04 minutes

Basically Jese is twice as efficient as Callejon, not to mention a lot better in other areas too, beating his man, pace, finishing etc.

Damn, Ronaldo scores (statistically speaking) a goal every 60 minutes. That is quite retarded, awesome but retarded.

jese will have his time, there is no need to rush him to the world cup. he should use the summer to rest and prepare for the next season...people are heaping too much on his young shoulders, besides spain has more than enough players, he would hardly get minutes. he is young, top priority now, should be madrid, not the world cup. that will come later. i'd rather he rest in the summer

Jese’s agent Gines Carvajal has confirmed that his client his suffered a cruciate ligament injury and will be out for the season.

The forward was stretchered off after just two minutes in Real Madrid’s 3-1 win over Schalke this evening.

And the Spain international’s representative has confirmed initial reports that the striker will miss the next six months.

Carvajal told Onda Cero that the MRI scan had confirmed a ligament tear, and that Jese would have to sit out until at least September.

each individual heals differently... some lose very little speed, others a lot. Jese is young; so you would think he'd recover a lot of it back.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos are among the Real Madrid players who have publically backed Jese following his season-ending injury.

Jese suffered cruciate ligament damage in the 3-1 win over Schalke on Tuesday and it has been confirmed he will miss the rest of the season.

Ronaldo, who scored twice against the German side to help deliver a 9-2 aggregate win, said after the match that Jese’s absence will be keenly felt by his teammates.

“I want to send a lot of encouragement to Jese,” Ronaldo told reporters.

“He had become a very important player to us and always did well when he played.

“He will be important for us again in future but the truth is it is very bad news for him and for the locker room.”

Ramos spoke to TVE following the final whistle and lamented the possible impact the injury could have on such a promising player.

“We’ve already been warned it could be a serious injury. He was in a good moment in his career, getting minutes and contributing to the team,” the defender added.

Casemiro revealed that he believes Jese’s injury is on par with the similar blow suffered by Sami Khedira in November as the worst moment of the season.

“It is very sad. He is a very important player and along with Khedira it’s the worst news of the year,” the Brazilian continued.

“All the players are with Jese and I send my thoughts to him, a very important player in the team.

“I hope he recovers soon. It’s bad. Now he has to fight hard to get back like he was - doing everything right.”

The likes of Alvaro Arbeloa, Alvaro Morata, Nacho and Isco also offered their support to Jese through social media.

Real Madrid striker Jése Rodríguez is heading to Germany, to receive treatment for his torn cruciate ligament, suffered in the Champions League match against Schalke 04 on Tuesday night.

The same surgeon who treated Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira in Augsburg, Ulrich Boenisch, will also operate on the knee injury that Jése has suffered and under the supervision of club doctors, Jesús Olmo and Francisco Morate.

Accompanied by his agent, Jése heads to Germany for surgery to repair the damaged cruciate ligament, suffered in the game against Schalke 04 on Tuesday night, before beginning his lengthy recovery process.

Before setting off, Jése greeted team-mates at Valdebebas following their morning recovery session at the training complex, whilst also offering his thanks for all the messages of support he’s received, since sustaining the unfortunate injury.

Although not confirmed, Jése could be operated on as early as Thursday morning, with medical staff in Augsburg making all the preparations necessary, to proceed with his treatment as soon as possible.

This morning Jesé Rodríguez underwent surgery in Augsburg to repair the tear to the anterior cruciate ligament and lateral meniscus in his right knee. The operation was carried out by Dr Ulrich Boenisch and concluded "in a satisfactory way", according to sources in Real Madrid.

Jesé will be out of action for around six months. His meniscus was hardly touched at all so as not to cause the player problems in the coming seasons.

The Madrid striker is already thinking about the road to recovery, although the German doctor has recommended Jesé stay at the Augsburg clinic until Monday. However, the player can't wait to get back to Spain and so might try and be back by tomorrow.

Jesé's message
Jesé sent out a message to those closest to him: "When I return I'll be a better player and a better person". This is the spirit with which the youngster is dealing with this major setback to his meteoric rise to the top, the first serious injury in his footballing career.

He knows that six months of hard work await him, during which time he'll spend many lonely hours in the gym and pool, without any hope of playing again until after the summer. Nonetheless, he knows this experience will help him in his personal development and he will come out the other side stronger as a player. Apparently, Jesé is already dreaming of "setting foot again in the Bernabéu".

Real Madrid forward Jese has had to be taken to hospital after the knee that was operated on earlier this year became infected.

AS cites a report from COPE that says the forward has suffered a complication following surgery to repair his torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Jese underwent the operation in March after he was injured in the second-leg of Madrid’s Champions League win over Schalke.

Marca adds that Jese has been in hospital since an operation on Wednesday and it is the second operation that has led to infection. A further operation and additional recovery time hasn't been ruled out, Marca adds.

Real Madrid winger, Jesé underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on Friday evening in Germany, after suffering an infection following the initial procedure to repair torn cruciate ligaments suffered in last month’s Champions League tie with Schalke 04.

It was reported by the club on Friday afternoon that Jesé had been hospitalised for further treatment on his knee, after suffering from a post-operative infection.

However, late Friday evening the club announced that Jesé had undergone an “arthroscopic revision” of the injured knee by Ulrich Boenisch at the Hessingpark-Clinic in Augsburg.

Real Madrid player Jesé Rodriguez underwent an arthroscopic revision of his right knee, which was carried out by Ulrich Boenisch in the Hessingpark-Clinic in Augsburg. The revision was a success and the player will stay in hospital for a few days under the supervision of the Real Madrid Medical Services.

It is currently unknown at this time how this will affect Jese’s recovery process or if it will delay the originally estimated recovery time of six months.

Jese is doing double sessions trying to speed up his recovery. Press think he will come back at the end of September and readu for games at the end of October but I feel he will come back before that. Kid is determined to get back quickly

With jese and dimaria both fit Jese always played in attack and dimaria in midfield when one of the front three were injured. Isco was never in contention bar false nine. I'd rather jese doesn't play there anyways because it doesn't get the best out of him

With James I think he will rotate with DiMaria/Modric and be back up to Bale and possibly Benz

we are going to have 60+ games there is going to be enough mins for everyone. Jese is a guy that takes his mins with both hands and impresses, it's going to be hard to bench him if the others don't give immediate results. I think that's why Carlo doesn't want another striker, Jese is never gonna get mins then

Yeh Jese will be number 1 backup for attack hopefully. Isco/Di Maria backup for midfield. Although with Ancelotti being of Isco at false 9, anything's possible.
