we will still win the tie thread
lool just wait and see what is going to happen at the emirates. keep the faith. remember the first 20 minutes at the start of the second half vs villa when we were 2-0 down? imagine that but for 90 minutes. just wait our players are going to have no fear and thats when we are most dangerous.
inter vs arsenal all over again, lost 3-0 at home, went to milan won 5-1. this time it will be the other way round.

Wengerism bought us 3 PL's and a handful of FA cups, so it's not a bad religion to follow

I want him to leave when his contract runs out, he deserves to go out with respect. He is our most successful manager so he deserves to go out in a good way.

Re: we will still win the tie thread
Id like to think we will have a better performance and the line up will be different. Its a shame we couldnt have at least kept the scoreline below 4-0, if we had i think a comeback would be possible, but clawing back 4 goals seems too much. Not to mention all they need to do is score one away goal and there really would be no return

thats why i am not too bothered to be honest. We need to get that top four or else no signings in the summer as far as am concerned. The same average players who are not good enough will stay. You know how the board rely on the whole champions league money thing

Re: we will still win the tie thread
We need top four more than losing to Barcelona/Bayern or Real Madrid in the next round. No one here can honestly say they expected us to go all the way.

The tie is lost, so all I want in the second leg if for us to put in a performance that the club and the fans can be proud of.

Re: we will still win the tie thread
We are a joke club, why would any manager come to Arsenal when the club is falling apart. Year after year we sell our players so our owner makes a profit.
If Ramsey starts in the next game the score line would be worst than last game.

Re: we will still win the tie thread
lool because they will get money? nobody will turn down a big club like arsenal. fact is the board are saying THE MONEY IS THERE, if another manager comes in, he'll spend it. and if that new manager DOESN'T get funds to spend...then everyone will point to the board and they will simply get shifted out because of the pressure.

Re: we will still win the tie thread
Nope. I'll go with starting our youth team so we focus on the very tough and CL-qualifying critical Liverpool and Newcastle matches.

Re: we will still win the tie thread
I am serious, play our B team and rest the others for Liverpool away which is far more important

Re: we will still win the tie thread
nop that will not happen, that will be a total lack of respect for a cl competition, to milan, and to the paying fans watching the game at the stadium. we WILL play our first team i am 100% sure of this, its not even debatable.

Re: we will still win the tie thread
Its finished. 1 goal for Milan and we'll have to score 6 which is impossible against an experienced side like Milan.
Throw out the youngsters and park the bus to keep the aggregate respectable. We need to be focusing on the PL matches now to get that 4th spot.
