Blanc would be intelligent to set up a 433, Martin seems to be better suited for that formation imo.

That's pretty much what Blanc is doing. He goes 4-2-3-1 against the lesser team, and then pulls Nasri back into a 4-3-3 if we struggle or against stronger teams. He also prefers the 4-3-3 with Martin in there over Nasri. My problem with the lineup is the technical limitations of Diarra and Diaby's inconsistencies. M'Villa is a very good DM... but blanc prefers B2B mids. Our midfield is kind of shit in terms of ball possession, passing and creativity. Link between D and attack has been awful.

We need an Alonso or a Sahin in our country lol.

Well, as far as passing forward goes, even on long balls, M'vila is the best from deep, he looks like the perfect DM. you have Martin linking up attack and midfield, so he might need a partner. It' about time gourcuff straighten up, i know he can play a deep position. Malouda can be tried there, i dont trust diaby.

This is a matter of Blanc either committing to the attacking game or playing conservatively.

The Gourcuff fail has been disastrous. Other than Diaby, we don't have other quality B2B mids. All the youth are post-Euro 2012 before they are ready.

I never foresaw gourceff failing that bad, its really taken me by surprise. But yeah def the team is not free flowing, the benzema-nasri-and that third guy from marsielle and newcastle experiment didnt turn out to be as good as it was supposed to be.

Sell Higuain, keep Benzema and Aguero.

Benzema is still unproven imo, want to see a full form season from him.
Aguero is a best against big teams, kind of needed.

i think aguero might be coming afterall, benz is not as definate stay as higuain, mou and all the madridistas love higuain.

if we buy kun aguero then benzema would be going out because they are both too similar to stay. for variety sake id keep higuain and aguero.

since all the press likes to say aguero is coming, he did say he wants to stay in la liga, he aint ging to barca, and no one else is really going for him.

MISSION AGUERO, might be completed already.

Mou would rather sell benzema.
perez is shelling out 45M for Aguero

Benzema got offers from Man U, Barcelona, Spurs and Arsenal. Of all these clubs he picked Real Madrid. This guy obviously likes Real.

Higuain does too, but if I had to pick - I would rather pick the striker that is the better and picked us out of all.

Aguero has a more attacking approach than Benzema, so I think they'd compliment each other and link up well. We honestly don't need a new striker, though...

I want Augero. I think CR7, Aguero, Benzema would be a crazy attacking trio. Higgy and Di Maria would still get a ton of playing time. I think there is a place for Augero,Benz, and Higgy.

But If one had to go I would unfortunately say Higuain

Lets assume that Aguero is coming, so who should leave?. Obv Aguero is not an bench type of player, that goes for Benzema & Higuain..
Im a lil benzema fanboy myself but Aguero and Benzema is too similar, and if Mou prefers Kun to Benz, nothing i can do, Madrid deffinetly needs some attacking diversity.
I just hope Aguero still isint coming Razz

I think Benzema should leave. Like you said, both of them are similar and Higuain is more of a CF. Aguero is just more suited to our team with his speed and overall ability. Like I said before, if Ronaldo wasn't here then Benzema would probably take his place.

Sergio Aguero Discussion - Page 4 Empty Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion

Post by guest7 Sat Jun 11, 2011 8:30 pm

"Accused at times of tactical indiscipline, Aguero plays almost like a Brazilian forward and has been compared to the enigmatic former Barca striker Romario. He is hard to predict – both for rivals and team-mates; he is not a 9, nor is he a 10, he likes to drop deep, he roams free and he goes in search of the ball. Much like Wayne Rooney, he can be difficult to play with and his movement is often unpredictable. So Madrid’s forwards will need to adapt quickly to his game – and he will need to adjust rapidly to theirs – because a few points dropped in the opening rounds could mean a premature end to the club’s title hopes. And they can ill afford that."

From a Goal.com article, usually their articles are stupid but this one is true. Benzema likes to drop more deep, and Higuain is the classic 9.

All of these 3 strikers are different ones and IMO Benzema isnt the same as Aguero and I would much rather keep Benzema than Higuain.
