It's different. It's already been discussed in this thread. You need to play the real thing, the demo is very different to the real game, that's just my opinion. I'd like to think most people would agree.

I hated fifa 12 the first week due to tactical defending. But imo it is a good new feature for online play(still crap vs cpu) and I'm doing good with it right now you just have to be less focused on the tackle button you can steal the ball with ease without using the tackle button(which I rarely use) and online I've been stacking up clean sheets after clean sheets. But It takes some time to get used to for sure hmm

Edit: Gil i've won 11 out of my 12 last matches head to head season online with 9 clean sheets, come again son

23 wins 2 draws and 2 losses so far for me

Though one of my losses and draws I disconnected when I was winning which sucks.

Lol exactly!

I got promoted to Division 3 today by the way. Hoping I can reach Division 1 before the end of the week.

TetraHydroC 10 wrote:@Gil What did you begin to do differently? Or did you just get used to the game/game play?

I honestly don't know. My finishing is far better, my defending has gotten much better and I've started to pass the ball quicker now but I only played like 7 or 8 games during my multiplayer break so I doubt I could have improved that much in such a short space of time.

My record since the Barca switch is 16-3-1 and as I said earlier I lost like 6/7 games in a row when I was using Chelsea. Although I've definitely improved since we last played I think Barca suits my game the most at moment.

Feel really cheap using them though so hopefully I can change to another team soon.

Don't feel cheap, there are plenty of five star teams.

EA just molested me, I was winning 1 - 0 and lost connection to EA. I won my next game and I'm now sitting on 9 points with 3 games to go. I need to win 2 out of the next 3.

I have finally learned to finish. My defense is ridiculous and I create many opportunities (11 shots per game). I kind of rushed into ranked games this year, I'm not as OCD with my record this year. I honestly just don't ever want to get relegated (unless it's division 2-4).

should we all really care about our records?

what do you guys prefer, to have one of the worst records in the forums but evolve so much that ur 1on1 the best, or have that pretty useless record?

I've noticed something in this game.

Whenever you put the CPU under ANY pressure, the minute they win the ball back it's an instant long ball that is so precise that it always goes to its target.

It's so stupid why the CPU would have perfect passing ability like that.

Is there any way to counter that non-sense?

Spain the best team online? I thought it was Brazil or Barcelona but they are lacking compared to Spain it seems

No such thing as the best team online, it's all about who's playing with said team. This years I don't think team ratings mean as much to the game, they've done a great job of giving each team their own real identity. Play Stoke against the computer and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Good point

Ive been using Spain

Iker
Ramos-Puyol-Pique-Albiol
Xavi-Xabi
Iniesta
Silva-Villa-Mata

Bench:
Valdes
Busi
Pedro
Torres
Santi
Cesc
Arbeloa
---

Still debating on my starting 11 to say the truth

Could also switch to a two man front

--------Iker
Ramos-Puyol-Pique-Albiol
---------Busi
-Santi------------Mata
---------Iniesta
----Torres------Villa

Bench:
Valdes
Llorente (For Torres/Villa)
Cesc (For Iniesta/Torres/Villa)
Pedro (for Santi/Mata)
Silva (For Santi/Mata)
Javi (For Busi)
Arbeloa

This would knock out Xabi and Xavi though

Barca have better players than Spain though.

However I still think they aren't as good as they should be on FIFA.

Ronaldo is still better than Messi imo on FIFA. He's just simply too powerful too knock off the ball.

Messi pretty much runs over peoples feet like in real life, but both of them are deffinitley a pain in the ass to try to contain.

Ive played with a few teams now and I think Brazil has the fastest team. It's insane how easily I just run past people with through balls, no other is fast enough to contain them plus they have a solid defense (better in the game than in real life, I am looking at you Julio Cesear)

-----------Julio Cesear
-Alves-Thiago Silva-Lucio-Marcelo
---------Ramires--Lucas
--------------Lucas
---Robinho----Pato-----Neymar

good luck trying to catch them, only slowish players in that whole set up is blondie Lucas and Lucio
