Depends if Pepe and Coentrao are there. Carvalho is not going to play lol... he's booted from the team.

If Bosnia can control the ball, they have a good chance. Defense is not that good and will falter if they don't dominate the ball.

Will be rooting for the impressive Bosnia who possess a steel mentality unlike the unsure Portuguese team who are always touted as "giants"

Carvalho not in there is simply a scapegoat.

Wouldn't be surprised the least bit if Dzeko and Misimovic tear the team apart.

They'll still be celebrating their friendly win against us though.

Dude, nobody cares about friendlies.

Anyway, I don't even know if we'll make it. Our defense has been so so bad it's unreal. Dzeko can make a lot of damage No

If Portugal put Ronaldo as CF since Postiga is crap and get Coentrao and Pepe back and fit then maybe just maybe they will have a chance

Will be interesting.

I'm not sure which one I'd like to qualify... Portugal are Portugal, surely they must reach the final tournament???
I dunno, may the best team win and I'll be happy with that.

Portugal will go through. I don't know why Bosingwa was not playing was he injured? Bosingwa, Pepe and Coentrao will make a big difference.

Oh and I would have Liedson over Poostiga.

Carvalho should be back for the encounter, but more important, Bento who is in fact a solid manager should be able to sort out the defensive end as especially with the talent of the starting back line.

Dzeko should be man-marked by Pepe imo

I understand that he is banned but due to the emergency situation and dire need for him, I'm 100% his ban will be taken away by the Portuguese FA.

And as for his retirement, thats just him whinging.

He'll be back.

I could be wrong though

But just because the FA lift his ban don't mean the coach is willing to call him up.

Well Ricky did not exactly commit an atrocity as he simply let his emotions get the better of him and payed for it.

He has merited enough for club and of course country alone to be recalled up and especially considering he is their best CB.

I don't know what Bento will do tbh but I'm sure he is smart enough to let his emotions aside and call him up due to the situation.

Yes, there is the factor that he must set an example, but the Euros are near and that must be set aside for another day.

GO BOSNIA!

My town has a small Bosnian population and I always love to see underdog stories. Plus, they have just about as much potential as Portugal at Euro 2012...which actually isn't much. Still

Bosnia & Herzegovina!! I'm pulling for ya Smile

If you take Ronaldo out ( if he gets injured) I dont see Portugal making it. Ronaldo's presence just means he attracts two or three defenders towards him. He needs to play as a CF, their current strikers won't even start for Real Sociedad. Plus, I personally dont rate Moutinho or Veloso that highly, very overrated imo.

I will cheer for Bosnia too, but i am sure Portugal is good enough ( with both nani and ronaldo playing) to go through.

Platini will weave his black magic to ensure Portugal will win.

I'm rooting for Portugal in these playoffs, as Portugal's too good to not be in the finals IMO, but I wouldn't mind it if Bosnia won, as long as they play well.
