Re: Liverpool and Juventus
I dont know about Juve but Liverpool have failed in transfer market once again.
Out of three English signings, only Jordan Henderson has potential.
Pity they missed on Phil Jones.

Re: Liverpool and Juventus
I think is going to make it back faster, they already set up strategy for winter and summer. They need a pair of good attacker, an LB and depth player to be a top team again. They can still compete for Scudetto with current squad, but not win it.

Juve 3rd Liverpool 4th. As a juve fan l just want to see us qualify for ucl. But for Liverpool ive watched them alot this year and I Havnt been impressed at all. Last 2 weeks they've been lucky , wolves were horrible and they played everton who were a man down for an hour. There luck will run out, united 2-0 liverpool

Re: Liverpool and Juventus
Juve have the potential to improve from last season. Pirlo in the last 10 seasons never ended below 5th.

But they have done enough to better Arsenal...
Liverpool for fourth.

Re: Liverpool and Juventus
i would like for juvi and liverpool to play in Europe next season coz i miss seeing them there, and i see it as a great possibility for both teams. That said both clubs might not finish top of their leagues especially liverpool.

They atleast had medicals.
Honestly though, how can you judge that after 7 games? We've only played 2 bad games in the league. That was against Wolves and Spurs.

Re: Liverpool and Juventus
Liverpool
2010/11
Total: £97,100,000
2011/12
Total: £34,000,000
Thats over 130m in just two seasons... Yes, they sold Torres for huge amount but when you look at current team, once again they havent really built a top squad.

Re: Liverpool and Juventus
City also spent that in one season. What's your point?
Anyway. Reason we're not a "top squad" is because we're been missing way too many chances. We can't finish 'em off.
And it's not like we can attract the likes of Hazard etc as we're not in the CL.

Our net spent over the last 2 seasons is less than 30 mil.So what exactly are u crying about?
Or are u saying everyone should be like Arsenal and only buy kids and get embarrassed 8-2 at Old Trafford?

'pool definitely got some good signings but i think the criticisms come from the high-profile ones (Downing and Henderson). neither were worth the asking price imo. Enrique was an absoulte steal, and charlie adam is beasting. those two were REALLY good pickups

Henderson is bought for the future.Even then he already had a motm performance vs Bolton was very good against United today. And we are only 8 games into the season.
Downing has been a hit and miss so far admittedly but then again we are only into oct.How on earth would u judge players worth based on 1 and half months?

Re: Liverpool and Juventus
I think Henderson was brilliant today after he came on. He is much better in CM compared to right side.
Funny how people don't mention that we got a top 5 LB in the world for only 5M
