In case you didn't realise , Gomez is 3 years older.......

benzema is one of the most complete strikers in the world,Gomez is more of a poacher.It depends on which style a team will play,Id much rather have a player like benz in milan,similar to ibra,who can pass and score while in a team like Man U gomez would be more useful.

I don't think there's any sane team that would turn Gomez down.

Him being "only a poacher" is a myth. His offball skills and workrate have increased dramatically.

i never said gomez is "only" a poacher,i said hes "more of a poacher",when we compare him to benz,benz is a better overall player since he not only can score but is also an amazing dribbler and good passer.

And i do believe that a few teams like Milan and Barca would turn him down....

Two different players.

Put gomes in benzemas role,he will not be half effective.same goes to benz.

MARIO GOMEZ is the best striker in der welt.

still benzema takes it imo, his pure talent is amazing.

Benzema only becuz he is more complete. poaching wise though Godmez. depends on team and style.

As matches are won by which team scores more goals than the opponent, Gomez it is for me.

How can you objectively say that Benzema is currently better than Gomez?

Oh ok, so we are only basing it on potential. I guess Quaresma is the best player in the world, then, if we only went for potential.

Benzema has not done anything worthwhile in years. It's not even a close comparison. Maybe in 3 years when he's Mario's age he reaches it, but right now he's not even fit to shine Gomez' turds.
