I see Guidolin's rationale he knew a loss would keep them equal on points with Atletico, so he played his B team so that his A team would be rested for Serie A. Teams with owners that use the team to make themselves money have to use these techniques to survive, they sell their best players every year.

I wish italian teams including Juventus would treat the Europa league with a bit more importance. Obviously subbing a couple of important players is fine but bringing out your worst possible line-ups is an insult to the fans.

If for nothing else, compete well in the Europa so Sere A get's the 4th cl spot back...

I don't know if this is in reply to me but I don't condone what the serie A teams are doing. It's killing the league in Co-eff points.

It's true they don't care about it but I don't say it as an excuse. They should care.

I care. I just can see Guidolin's strategy in this case. He will get out of the group in second place, so why play your best team when even if you lose you will be equal in points at the top and risk his Serie A placement?

Just as I thought. He used the youngsters for this game because he could without risking passing the round. He is a very intelligent manager.

Most people are not giving credit to us but we have a relatively new team: Falcao, Diego, Arda, Adrian, Salvio, Silvio, Courtois and even Miranda.

You will be surprised at how much we will improve by the end of this season.

I would personally prefer AVB, lol. Sometimes I feel that the managers in our team are not ambitious enough. I am not a fan of Manzano, but recently I heard from Balague that Luis Aragones would consider our offer.

Plus Bielsa is too risky of a project, the way I see it. Either it will work amazingly well, or we will be down in the relegation zone. Too risky for my liking.
