This team really amazes me... everyone (including me) thought they would be relegated this season yet they kept a solid spine of players (Di natale, Benatia, Domizzi, Asamoah, Isla, Armero to mention some) who have kept them competitive. They sign unknown players and turn them into stars. The Pozzo family have turned udinese into a very successful business whilst also ensuring the club's stability. Praise must also be given to their coach Guidolin, one of the most underrated coaches in the world.

I think that all the credit here needs to be given to Guidolin..absolute masterclass from him. In that team, they really play a system which combines smaller parts to a greater whole, so that, you don't necessarily need top class layers, and the system they play allows for this to be done.

Biggest favour was kicking them from CL, the team is good but I doubt if they would have been able to compete in CL and Serie A, they would have been eliminated from the group stage and ended up in EL.
