Most UNDERRATED players?

Personally I think Lavezzi and, ALL JOKES ASIDE, Podolski, are two of the most underrated players in the world. Both have world class dribbling skills and shots, bothread the game very well. Podolski usually has the problem of not performing that well for club, but th problem seems gone now. Both these players are overlooked because Podolski plays for Koln and Cavani for some reason gets allthe attention of people looking at napoli. People forget though, that Koln finished 10th thanks in big part to Poldi, andthat it was Lavezzi that supplied those goals for Cavani. They should both be starting for their respective national teams without a doubt in my opinion. What do you guys think and what other player are overlooked and/or underrated?

zidane, cr7.. only on this forum......... the way people keep insulting zidane calling him the great lie of football.. and ronaldo seems like a fat ass with zero dribbling skills who only scores tap ins and freekicks because the keeper is shit

Komany. Tevez gets a lot of credit for City's performances this season, I think people forget(myself included) how good Kompany was actually this season. Second best CB in the league and probably top 5 in the world, based on this seasons performances.

Rossi.Coz no1 was talking about him till he gets connected with Barca !
Only true fans of his game know how good he is.
And yea..Podolski too

Mostly of the german players, because practically they all play at their home league, but it isn't very famous and watched worldwide, so people underrate them

Not anymore, though. A lot are hyped and you even have some playing for Madrid.

Underrated? Van Bommel. True champion right there. Alex Song. He's very important to Arsenal's play and often goes unnoticed. Khedira is very underrated, although most Madrid fans rate him above Lass by now.

Bare with me on this because I know a lot of you will disagree but I'm going to say Torres is underrated.

Yes he is not playing that well at the moment but he is simply out of form. Many people have labelled him a flop which implys he won't ever play well while at Chelsea but considering he is not past his prime and he is still at the club he cannot be labeled a flop. With proper rest, a decent pre season and a creative Midfielder he'll be back to his best and everyone here will look foolish.

Long story short, People call him a flop, He is still a class striker therefore underrated.

I agree with the OP...Lavezzi is so overlooked even for Argentina that it often puzzles me.

Another guy is Edinson Cavani. People talk about Aguero, Torres, Rooney, etc. but I think Cavani can fend for himself amongst them.

Kompany, Marchisio, Busquets come to mind first.

Jeremy Mathieu.

Jose Enrique, i would go into detail of why and how underrated he is but it most likely would fall on death ears.

Jokes aside, I think Danish international and Liverpool midfielder Christian Poulsen is the world's most underrated player because I am not taking this thread as serious as I should. But actually, when I think about it, he's been getting a lot of infamy as being shit when really it's all coming to plan- he's getting the coverage he wants because he's not good enough to get the attention of a good player, so he's pulling on this act. Why else would he have girly hair? He's quoted as saying "I've got long hair and I need to keep it out of my eyes. It's part of my image and I will keep it."

If he was a so-so player, do you think he'll get poems written about him like this one?
