Neymar signs a new contract with Santos

The funniest part about this whole thing is that half the posters on here still think he is going to Madrid this summer.

Wake up people, it's not there god given right to buy any player they want. He plays for Santos and they will tell you when they are ready to sell not the other way around.

With a good performance in the World Cup and all the hype he will get leading up to and in the world cup can you imagine what his price will be then? I mean 45-50 mill is small potatoes compared to what there going to get for him after the world cup and they will get to keep his services for the next couple of years on top of it. I mean whatever there paying him is nothing compared to all the money they are going to make off of him.

I think signing a new contract was stupid on Neymars part. If he intends coming anyway, its stupid because hes just making himself more expensive like Aguero. If not, its stupid because staying in Brazil for another 3 years will do nothing to him and he will waste those important years. Devious from Santos here, but cant say I didnt expect it, theyve been playing dirty the whole time.

He means CR.And actually neymar is 1 or 2 goals away from having the same number of goals R9 had at 19.He also has more trophies than R9 at 19.

he would waste 2 years being a rotation player for madrid,the only thing he will be wasting in Brazil for the next 2 years is money.

I don't really care about the goals Neymar has at 19. When I say he's not going to be as good as Ronaldo it's not an insult. I just don't think his cealing is as high and I don't think he will ever be a 50 goals a season player in europe like Ronaldo is.

I mean if he is a top 10 player in the world, what's wrong with that? The levels that Ronaldo and Messi are playing at right now are historic and to predict Neymar will be better then either one of them is just loose.

Also, I have never thought that Madrid were in desperate need of Neymar and if he got there I don't think he would walk into the team. They do not need another alpha male on the team as they are playing lights out right now which is why Mou said a couple weeks ago there not looking to buy anyone in Jan.

Yes, he could get the Ebola virus too or die in a plane crash, OMG what would Santos do then??? Any player could get hurt, in fact I will spare you the drama, he will get hurt in the next 3 years to some extent. It doesn't mean it will be a career ender, as about 90% of injuries aren't now a days. I guarantee you even if he does get injured during the WC he will go for more then 75 mill by then, so what doi Santos have to lose?

I mean that's why I said it' my opinion he wont score 50 goals or break the records Ronaldo has. I mean it's not much of a prediction as some of those records have stood for years before they broke them. I'm not really sticking my neck out saying he wont score 50 goals, I mean he probably never will neither will 99% of players in Europe. It's no big deal, I just think people need to step back and appreciate what Messi and Ronaldo are accomplishing these last 2 years and not expect it from them or think the next best youngster have to live to those standards because what there doing is insane.

He wouldnt be a rotation player for two years. Maybe the first year, because he needs to change to adapt to the European game, not for any other reason. Brazils league is just on a lower level to La Liga, EPL, etc and you know it. He has already dominated that league, nothing left to do. How will he develop further in Brazil? That is wasting years.

Benzema spent a year and a bit sucking, but know what? Now hes actually very good, and that time waiting was worth it. So your jab is kind of worthless.
