Ancelotti to PSG ?

Rumours in that Kombouaré might get the sack soon and Ancelotti is in line to be the replacement

He met with Leonardo the last few days in Paris... and there's discontent in management regarding PSG's style of play.

No fan of Kombouare... but it would be very sheisty to sack him when he has the team in 1st place.

Ancelloti is great for a team that doesn't need much building.

When will Qatar St Germain walk away from football after thier experiment is done so we can go back to Paris St Germain and Nick can go back to supporting L'OM

Not that I'm a fan of Kombuare or anything, but changing coaches when your team is in 1st place seems incredibly dumb to me.

I agree it's a dumb move when your team is first... but obviously the PSG board wants Ancelotti acclimatized as fast as possible and they don't mind maybe losing a few points in the process, due to their great squad.

Ancelotti will be the next PSG coach, info is filtering and sounds certain. Will travel to Qatar with the team.

EJ, the point about Ancelotti not being able to build a team is not true. If you want to discuss that further I gladly will.


Nick, if this is indeed true, I can't imagine how happy you must be. Although I don't know how well you rate him. Thoughts?

I don't agree with the sacking of Koumbare tbf but Ancelotti is an absolutely superb manager in every sense. He thrives especially when given freedom as I'm sure this will happen given his superb relationship with Leonardo.

Keep in mind Ancelotti is known for starting off slow as he is always looking at the bigger picture and is a perfectionist. But results are always guaranteed with him.

If so, like when he was at Chelsea, I will now have a soft spot for PSG then and will follow them hopefully on a regular basis.
