@Mole, Money vs Pacman aint never going to happen now... Even if it does, Money will win it easily because Pac's lost it. If it happened, let's say 3 or 4 years ago I think Pac would've beaten Money.

Just a shame we never got to see it. And as for Money's unbeaten record, well in his weight class atm I can't see anybody beating him. I hope he gets beaten though, will never hear the end of it from Mayweather fans if he stays unbeaten.

Yeah i know i was speaking in hypotheses, that if it happened its the only fight big enough to extend his legacy at 147.

He has to do something outside the norm now IMO just continuing to beat all comers at 147 and 154 is not enough for him to extend his legacy beyond what is now.

Quite frankly that is all what is left for him, extend his legacy to even greater heights because he has nothing left to prove and will be already considered a all time great and a hall of famer.

Yeah there's no point in the Pac vs Floyd fight now that should have happened 1-2 years ago.

Saul isn't ready yet either.

Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:What fights are left out there that we could consider credible for Floyd to extend his legacy?

I really don't see any fights out there that are credible at 147 or 154. At 147 there is nothing for him which could extend his legacy and at 154 what is there? Maybe Saul Alvarez but even that i feel would be a comfortable victory for Floyd maybe in 2 years it might be closer but even so i don't see that as a fight that extends his legacy.

I think Floyd is at a similar stage to Sugar Ray Leonard in his career where he has to do something outside the box to further his legacy.

Continuing to beat everyone at 147 and 154 aint going to cut it for me, for Floyd to take his legacy to the next level i think he has to move to 160 and take out the World Champ at that weight.

For some reason people don't respect undefeated streaks in boxing, Marciano and Calzaghe both have their critics. Those who think outside the box and take risks are usually remembered with higher esteem.

As for Pacquaio he's far too aggressive and defensively flawed to beat Floyd not to mention his jab is nowhere near good enough.

That would extend Floyd's legacy purely due to the hype involved but it would never happen because Arum is a dickhead.

I'm intrigued to see what he does next because he's really at the Michael Jordan stage now where you wonder what he can do to take it further and how much further he will take it.

I think he should really go Martinez. Especially as Martinez wants to come down, they can meet at a reasonable weight. Martinez still awfully big in comparison, but I reckon Flloyd will sting him enough. Martinez cant walk through him (like other guys at that weight might be able to) and if Flloyd figures out his patterns (like he does everyone else) Martinez is in trouble.

I think Flloyd will leave Canelo alone for now, hes coming, hes legit, said it from the start when people questioned him and im more convinced than ever.

Said many times about Pacman, as you said, dead in the water.

The only issue I have is how many people seem to think Pacman has a better resume than Flloyd..someone needs to explain that one to me because im completely confused.

Who has Pacman beat Flloyd hasnt who is worth fighting? Not to mention Flloyd beat a guy Pacman lost to already easily and beat many of the names on his record before Manny..

Agreed on Martinez and quite frankly he doesn't need to sting him in my view.

He dominated the Guerrero fight with less than 500 punches over 12 rounds and 60% accuracy.

At world level that shit is ridiculous, if the extra weight doesn't effect his movement and speed then he doesn't need to actually hurt the opponent.

And you could take this all the way up to heavy weight really if you want to tbh, the idea of not getting hit and being extremely accurate will make you dangerous at any weight.

I have wanted the Martinez fight for a few years now and just like with Pacquaio to me it would have been better if it happened a couple of years back.

But alas i do think it is one of the few fights that extends his legacy just because of the whole massive difference in actual weight even if Martinez is losing it a bit.

Where you hear that brah? would be a great fight to see although its too soon for Alvarez IMO.

Although i agree with what Dwyer said in another video, that Alvarez should swing for the fences and fight Mayweather, Martinez or Andre Ward.

And not make the same mistake David Price did by taking a tune up fight and lose to someone like Tony Thompson like Price did.

Canelo HEAVILY linked to fighting Cotto next, which I think will happen. Probably send him to retirement too. He aint that old but he been in too many wars at this point. I think Canelo would batter him.

Floyd, I dunno, heard some talk of Khan..no idea why...suspect it must be nonesense.

Just watched the video i think they are just saying what they want to see.

I sighed when i saw the rest of the names linked with a fight with Floyd.

All meh, if those are the names you might as well not fight at all.

Alvarez was the only name that excited me even if i think its too early for Alvarez.

Best thing i can say about Brandon Rios is the closest thing he's going to get to hall of fame is when he meets Pacquaio at the weigh in.

But boxing is 2nd to Pacquaio now and he's clearly on the way down so Rios has a punchers chance.

If this fight happened 3 years ago then it would be over in like 3 rounds.

Hold on, Rios is no bum..why yall saying this lol

Its a good match up for Pac because Rios is mostly defenceless....but he hits real hard at his weight and can brawl. Pacman chin to get checked again before recovering for a mid to late stoppage.

Rios a scrub? What? He's at the same level as Robert Guerrero tbh

Steve Kim is reporting that Floyd will only fight Canelo at 147lbs. This is the kind of shit that really annoys me. So many contradictions - for Miguel Cotto it was fine to go to 154... 'If I fight Cotto, I want him to be at a weight where he's comfortable. I want to face the best Miguel Cotto'.

Richard Schaefer when asked about possible future opponents listed out Amir Khan, Danny Garcia, and Victor Ortiz No

I actually thought the Marquez fight was his best performance in years. He looked like the old Manny Pacquiao - Marquez was fúcked, his nose was broken, he was gassing badly and couldn't keep up with Manny. The punch he landed knocks out any fighter in the world. There's nothing you can do about it. If that punch didn't land Marquez wouldn't have lasted more than another two/three rounds imo

I think most people with boxing skills at world level can beat Mattysse.

He has a lot of power but he's very flat footed, someone who sticks and moves could beat him IMO.

Problem is Khan is an idiot and would get rocked far too often so he isn't that man.

Hard to say. I mean he destroys brawlers like Olusugan and Peterson and his two loses came agains good movers in Alexander and a younger Judah. However I saw both, he owned Alexander and git robbed nd felt it was close but beat Judah too.

I thought Alvarez wouldn't fight under 154, but supposedly both fighters agreed on 152.

Floyd feeding the fans

Will be his toughest fight yet no doubt, and at 152 it's going to be a lot tougher for Floyd, but he'll still pull this out I believe.
