With Juan always injured and most likely departing in the winter transfer window, Cassetti also,were going to need a new CB.

I was thinking Bovo he would be a good short term solution. *Loan deal*

And now we see exactly how important Burdisso is for us. They're saying it could be a tear in his cruciate ligaments, which means he'll be out for a long time.

Juan is still very unfit, Kjaer is just coming back from injury and Cassetti is a disaster. Why do I expect De Rossi to play as a center back now?

Great call Mike.I hear his contract is nearly up so we might me able to get him on the cheap in January.

The only reason why I said Bovo is because I hear he is out of favour at Genoa,but Astori would be a much better fit for us..

I named him because we were linked to him over the summer and his contract is in fact expiring. I wouldn't say that we would get him for cheap, but it would make the deal easier that's for sure.

I also expect Ogbonna to be linked to us again sometime soon. And We might hold off the Juan and/or Cassetti sales until next summer.

Gerrard was absent for 6-7 months and if you count his current infection-injury it's 8 months so I simply cannot agree with that
