Why is Casillas so sacred that there can't be a thread making fun of his blunders? There seems to be no problem when any other keeper does it...

No, I think it was perfectly fine to make fun of the blunder. I just don't think it makes him a worse keeper. Though again, I never considered Iker to be a top5 'keeper, so what the hell do I know.

sure the pitch was terrible but that excuse would fly only if he never made a mistake like this ever before... which is not the case, as opposed to what the madrid fanboys will have you believe

But Arq this isnt the first time Casillas has made a similar blunder.......

He's a goalkeeper capable of the outstanding but he does make a blunder more often than other greats.

Personally Valdes is better than Reina and thats my opinion and iam not going to try and sway yours because its a waste of time and iam really not interested in it.

Who said anything about Casillas? It's one mistake, if we made a thread for every mistake, this place would be filled with pointless threads. Also, huntsman is no longer here, I kinda figured that would be the end of that whole on going debate. I think everyone had enough time to put in their two cents and if you haven't, perhaps you create a thread where you can keep discussing keepers and or blunders.

If I see a burning building, I'm not gonna walk over and throw gasoline on the fire. Just because this place is already filled with nonsense threads, doesn't mean we should continue making nonsense threads.

I try to treat this forum as if it's my home, my country. It's a shame that some of you just take if for granted and don't care when you throw your "trash" all over the place. You just expect your parents (mods) to clean it all up.

Blunder: a careless mistake.

There are tons of threads about mistakes. It happens, we make fun of them, then it's over. The OP had nothing about Casillas not being class because he made a mistake, that is just the direction some people here took them. If anyone seriously believes this mistake proves anything then they're probably not worth listening to in the first place.
