Error prone? No, that's not the word to describe him. Error prone is like Casillas; but Song has the one fault in his game: He sometimes holds the ball for too long instead of passing.
Sometimes it works fabulously; for example, our first goal was a result of that.
Sometimes it fails, which was the result of the goal we conceded

If you find any of the "numerous runs" starting from January, then be my guest; otherwise, I'd suggest you put a sock in it. I'm actually seriously challenging you to find just 3 of these "numerous" runs that cost us. GO!

That is not what you call error prone. It's like saying Ronaldo is error prone because sometimes his dribbling works and sometimes it fails :facepalm:

Adit still not replying to my post; He has obviously conceded defeat and realizes that he is so wrong.

@Sushi, I love how fluent our midfield is. We are not reliant on any one midfielder; They all contribute with goals and assists as well. They're also all very hard working, which is great to see.

Agree, Fady. They're much more tactically sound, too. You don't see those suicide runs they usually made a few seasons ago, leaving the defense exposed. Part of why our defense has looked much better lately. All we need is our wingers to click and perhaps a little depth which will be half fixed once Wilshere and maybe Diaby are fit.

Still need a couple of signings, though, if we want to be as strong as we were last season.

That's true, and you need not look any further than yesterday's opener for proof. Ramsey passes the ball to Song and, as soon as Song starts to roam forward, you can see that Ramsey went all the way back to the DM spot that was left vacant.

No wonder I've been feeling more secure during matches, and when we take the lead.

I don't think the stats agree at all, Denilson almost always had >90% pass completion rates.

He hasnt been playing as DM this year tho, Arteta has been playing deeper than he has and i think you will find Arteta will have stats more akin to a DM than Song does.

Song has been playing in his rightful role this season, Deep lyin playmaker that is B2B and finally showing the potential that i saw him in all those years ago against Charlton always rated him and now hes finally showing what hes capable of.
