Okay honestly, how much of Park have you seen to say that?

Not jumping at your throat, but Chamakh has had enough and more chances to regain his form. Park has had 3 appearances till now. Give him time! See his international record of late.

Agree with you that we don't need players who aren't passionate.

Didn't the commentators say something about Chamakh not being well yesterday? I saw him coughing a bit and having a tough time after that. That doesn't take away the fact that he played like shit, again.

So true, Chamakh just isn't for us, we don't cross the ball that often - just sell him to Bordeaux who apparently want him. Sell Bendtner too if he doesn't want to come back. And get a proper striker, I'm fearing the day when van Persie gets injured.

To think one quality striker sometimes could make all the difference like Aguero yesterday, we desperately need one now. I really don't care Podo, Reuse, Remy, Ayew, just some fresh face, seriously the sight of Chamakh on the pitch brush off all my hope and optimism.

If I got to choose I'd choose Podolski and Götze too

Just speculation, I doubt Lille would be willing to let go of Hazard AND Sow for the price they wanted for the former.

I like Podolski's killer instinct but he seems lethargic at times in the mold of Andrey Arshavin, yes to Gotze.

i rather go for the Eriksen then Gotze.....he is more likely to join us and cheaper...

Eriksen wont be cheaper, Manchester City bided this summer. And he's a Barca fan - even if we sign him, he'll go there when they need him.

hes nowhere near as good as he gets hyped around here, hes having a good season now but how many years of meh has been produced

whats more he picks and chooses when he plays he doesnt even give his all in every game

Podolski has had several great seasons. Consider he plays in village club Koln and is pretty much the only stand out player on that team (although Geromel is mighty decent).

His off form performances are usually in Germany friendlies when not everyone is in synch or it's basically experiments. In big games he shines and actually has good workrate.

He's only 26 so he has plenty of years left in him. He can slot into our left wing or play up front if needed. He's God. What more do you want?

I always liked him but the reason I really want him is how he played in the Arsenal Cologne friendly. His movement off the ball and with it, wow. He is pure class!

Put it this way, even Messi would look shit playing for Wigan or Bolton

Stick Podolski in a team with a plethora of outstanding midfielders and someone who can score goals on a whim like RVP and watch him flourish
