Why Rossi didn’t join Juve...
Juventus were just details away from signing Giuseppe Rossi from Villarreal over the summer, agent Federico Pastorello has noted.
The Old Lady did hold discussions for the Italian international, but the deal collapsed on the verge of completion.
“There was a mutual flirtation between the two clubs over the player for a few weeks,” Pastorello told GR Parlamento.
“Then, when both clubs started to define everything, Malaga made a €20m offer for Santi Cazorla and Villarreal subsequently decided that they wouldn’t be selling anyone else.
“They told us that is was no longer possible to negotiate with Juventus,” Pastorello continued.
“There were just details remaining and I was convinced that a deal would be done until the unforeseen Cazorla development.
“However, that is what happens in the transfer market.”
Rossi is currently sidelined after picking up a knee ligament injury earlier this season.

Re: Why Rossi didn’t join Juve...
This injury is very costly to Rossi and he will have to show a huge afford to maintain my interrest as a juve-supporter. Rossi was never that interesting in my pov and now that he is injured this season i doubt he will get any more attractive in the summer.. When you're 25 you're not a young gun anymore and Rossi at 25 isn't a player of incredible potential anymore. Marchisio is breaking though this season and that at 25 years of age..

Marotta offered Aguero 7 mil per season , Elkann every right to every car track and F1 formula to drive it. isn't that enuff ? he wanted UCL football

not enough, all he wanted was to be the heir apparent to the "golden boy" not money and cars.......

I'm glad we didnt get him, even without the injury. Never really considered him to be much of a step up to spend the money he was being rumored for.

Disagreed here !
Aguero is, if he wants to be, the biggest talent in the world waiting to break through..

I always figured Aguero a bit unrealistic for Juve at the current stage.. I mean.. He was sort of destined for Real Madrid in my opinion but then again who can compete with Man.City? Giovinco will be a charm on his return

I agree as well plus I would have prefered Aquero over Rossi anyway. Can't wait to see Gio back in black and white!inderbaby wrote:Over rated in my opinion...would prefer to bring back giovinco for free :shisha:
