There was a rumour once upon a time, when Abramovich now arrived at Chelsea to be exact, that stated Chelsea was willing to sign Roberto Carlos, Raul and Figo (not sure if another name was mentioned) for 100 million Pounds. This wasn't the Raul, RC or Figo of 2000, this was those 3 when their powers were pretty much on the downward slide. That was the stupidest transfer I have ever heard...
