Are pathetic.

RVP is our only striker. The wingers are useless.

Gervinho sucks. Theres no way around it. He is just not good enough for a top 4 EPL team.

Arshavin is having a laugh.

Theo is good.... but nothing more then that. He wouldn't start for united, chelsea, city, pool, or spurs.
Theo would be a very effective sub.

I really can't get over how disappointing of a signing Gervinho is.

i thought Gervinho worked his butt off today. he couldve been a little more efficient but the guy was EVERYWHERE. both wings, through the middle, at least he gave a hard effort.

He's still adapting, but I thought he was great today. Came back 40-50 yards to help out the defence, had a go at a pretty solid Richards, and made some nice cuts inside.

And flop of match Ramsey.. As usual.. He fails consistently against good teams.. Why he always goes for backheels and try some weird skills and end up giving the ball.. Just be simple and play your game..

Because we dont have any choice? every new player needs to adapt and he wasnt that bad. He just need to work more on his final ball.

Wow you were not watching the game, Gervhinho worked his ass off. Theo was useless did not do anything.

Gervinho was our best striker if not our best player in the pitch, and Walcott was busy doing Djourou's job, who was completely lost most of the time, but we don't have depth we need two signings in attack, a winger and a striker.

Gervinho was great. Walcott was very isolated. Van Persie is van Persie.

Remember we had CBs for fullbacks and that of course our wingers aren't going to look as good with guys playing out of position.

Gervinho was good today. Walcott should have done better given the circumstance that he was against Zabaleta but he wasnt able to deliver. You cant expect that all our forward should score and assist every game so calm down.

I know Godolski is the GOAT, but seriously Theo will still start if we buy him. Theo faded today near the end, but earlier in the game it annoyed me how little we passed to him considering he was frequently in great positions and his final ball is far better than Gervinho's (although Gervinho worked very hard today).

Today, he played well. His final ball is lacking at times, but his movement and threat is great.

We paid £10.6m for him and he has been worth it.

Yeah, it's a progress guys not a match of death, take positives from the game also. I learn to eat my words long times ago regarding Theo, won't make any assessment or call out against Gervinho who had good game imo. As much as i hate Man City, they have 100% record at home so they are strong, we battled til the very end. The reason our wingers looked bad in your eyes is because we have 2 CB as fullbacks, so those overlap runs were not there.

Honestly, it was one damn match that we played pretty well in lol. We gave City a run for their money [pun intended] and did that on their turf. We're still improving.

Walcott would probably start as often as not for Liverpool actually. Bellamy is the only player in our squad with real pace and with his knees he can't start every match. Plus, we have no actual right wingers or right forwards.

Gervinho was great against City. He was our best attacker. He roasted Richards and squared it to VP who put a weak shot right at Hart. If RVP hit that one like we expect him to, it's a goal.

I love Gervinho and he looks like he will be very good for us. I don't think he's our problem.
