lessandro Del Piero will continue playing once he leaves Juventus in June – but don’t ask him where.

The Old Lady of Italian football have confirmed that the 37-year-old will leave once his contract expires during the summer.

The club captain, signed from Padova in 1993, has admitted that he won’t hang up his boots, but he’s put his future on hold for now.

“I won’t stop playing,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“There is just Juventus in my future for now. All that I am thinking about is this Serie A season and the Bianconeri.

“The hope is that we’ll be able to do well in 2012 all of the things that we did well in 2011.”

The 2006 World Cup winner has failed to score so far this season in 12 Serie A games and one Coppa Italia tie.

Del Piero is no longer guaranteed first team football under Antonio Conte as the statistics for the current campaign illustrate.

The forward has started just three Serie A matches and played in only 296 minutes of top-flight action overall.

Another Italian team? No. Canada , Us or Japan i reckon. However it doesn't fuss me. I don't want his last few months with us to be about speculation but yet a celebration and time to reflect on his career with us. Therefore from now I refrain on talking about the ale post juve situation

I hate to think about him leaving, I hope it's to a premier league team or another serie A team however unlikely. I would like to follow his games.

If he goes to America I hope EsPN has decent coverage.

When Juventus go too Toronto unlike Inter, then you can see the best player in the World play. That's if he goes.

who are they playing in toronto?

Well they've come the past two summers but I'm not sure if they'll be coming this year and if they do I doubt Alex will be there as he will be out of contract with the club so it really doesn't make much sense in that way since Juventus and the other clubs uses these friendlies as their pre-season training matches.

If Juventus can reach the champions league then why not keep Del Piero on, there will be plenty of opportunities for him to play and I do not see a better impact substitute- just for the fans too

He would be great depth. His touch is godly and he still makes such a great impact.

Very true. The man still has enough to play. I see no reason to get rid of him. We're effectively getting rid of a very good player who accepts low wages and low playing time and will end up getting another player for much higher wages who demands to start often.
