How do you rate Demba Ba ?

Just want an honest opinion.How do you guys rate him ?

Top 5 strikers in the league.

Top 10.

Or Just an average striker who is performing well above expectations.

Top 10 in the league on permanent class and ability.

#2 on current form. RVP just edges him in this category (I had to think about it for a little while). Ba has been scoring incredible goals. A wonderful example was the opener against Manchester United. Absolutely incredible first time volley.

He's performing above his level but he'll stay in the top 10 strikers once he's back to Earth.

just a flash in the pan

He's got 22 goals in his 29 games in the PL with West Ham/Newcastle.

Much more than a flash in the pan I think.

Just a step below Coloccini, who himself is just a step below our lord and savior Podolski.

He has a near 0.5 goal per game ratio in all his clubs, which means this is not freak form. Obviously he's not always going to be this good, but he certainly has the talent to be a great striker.

Good player. I really want to know wtf our scouts were doing when tottenham bought Sandro and modric. And when the toons bought cabaye and tiote. Who do we get.... Bebe. I'm literally speechless. United should sack their scouts. I'm just fed up of this rubbish. No holding player for God knows how long.

Well, he seems to be good in efficiency, but I don't rate him attitude-wise as I followed the long and ugly story how he practically blackmailed Hoffenheim to release him from his ongoing contract (he went on strike and refused to train and such things). In my eyes he is just a mercenary and would do everything and never look back if he can find a more advantageous deal.

He's got a career goal to game ratio of a goal every 2 games this is a little bit more than a "flash in the pan"

Alot of people told me how great he was in the summer not just you Elm but i wouldnt listen.... you told me, McLewis told me and a few friends IRL did aswell.

As for scouts, Jibers its quite different getting players for a top 8 side then it is for a side thats battling for the league.....

I do love our scouts tho, just to give everyone an idea.......

Would still be a top 5 striker in today's PL. Only Costa, Kun and Sturridge are better than him.
