On september Messi entered 100@100 club with the likes of Pele, Müller, Dixie Dean and few others. Since Mario Jardel (98-00), over decade ago, someone scored atleast 100 in 100 straight official club games.

Now Messi entered 100+50@100 club. Last 100 games:

Those are 100 for club though, what if you include his official games for Argentina as well, how much of a difference would it make?

I have only club games in a searchable database, and I'm working on national game database as well. Before that it's too hard to give exact data.

So the feat that has probably never happened before in high level football, happens. But it isn't worthy of general section? Well I just have to disagree with that.

If this is about praising Messi for what he done, then surely the Barca section is the best place for it. That is where everyone there will talk about it.

Here, people are going to interpret it as "hey everyone, look at Messi and what he can do...again".

I wont move it, but if this was about getting people to talk about his achievement here, this wasnt the best place.

Anyway, continue, as you were.

Well, there *is* a church of Maradona. Obviously Messi still has to go a far way until he is worshipped like that Very Happy
