Official: Juve's Yago to Spurs

Juventus have officially sold Yago Falqué Silva to Tottenham, who immediately loaned him to Southampton.

The Spanish midfielder had joined Juve in the summer of 2008 from the Barcelona youth team, but barely set foot on the field in a Bianconeri jersey.

He had loan spells at Bari and Villarreal before going to Tottenham in August 2011.

Spurs have now bought Yago on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee, but immediately sent him out on loan again to Southampton.

Shame. His career should've gone another way. Guess he should've never left Barca. His still a talent. I'm sure he'll do well at say a mid range club. All the best to him. Had him on Facebook, very modest guy
