I strongly dislike Ramos, but he deserves the praise he is getting, he and pepe dominated this tie.

The first goal was all Varane. Not sure what he was doing honestly. The second goal was a mixture of Marcelo doing his best impression of Dani Alves (not prime Alves but the current version that can't be arsed to run back) and really slack marking.

You don't the first goal was mostly Lopez for staying on his line on a corner that ended 1 meter from his goalline right between the posts? I'm still shocked that he didn't punch it. Varane looked stunned that the ball got to his man based on where he was. I mean look at this:

He wasn't included in uefa team of the year 2 years in a row for nothing
He was superb vs Bayern in both legs and did ok in last couple of matches

Funny how some guys like BarrileteCosmico try to blame Ramos for every goal RM concedes Laughing
